We understand Canadians. No one should be harmed by this process neither us nor Canadians. As TS2023, we are grateful for the helping hand Canada extended to us after the earthquake. We came here, we worked, we paid taxes, and we started rebuilding our lives. We never received even a single dollar of government assistance; we all spent the savings we brought with us. However, the uncertainties within the immigration system are now negatively affecting both us and public perception. As thousands of people invited through a temporary measure, our only request is a fair, transparent, and predictable process. #TS2023 People were invited to start a long-term recovery here in Canada—or at least that was the plan—until they faced the harsh reality of a political crisis unfolding before their eyes. People are being held responsible for the failing government of Justin Trudeau and the incompetent policies of Sean Fraser. A work permit was issued with no backing, no clear plan, and no future-proof steps. Behind the permit, there was no underlying support of any kind. People who survived a major disaster were given hope to start a new life, trusting the Canadian immigration system for a better future. @RAMQuebec Hello, Although I pay taxes in Quebec, I am unable to obtain a health card from RAMQ because I hold an open work permit. This situation is affecting both my family and me, mentally and financially, at a time when I am eager to become a part of Canada. Pls your help
