Few months back an uncle Ji (retired Indian diplomat) in Delhi told me straight up that he sabotaged establishment of Indian chip industry 30 years back. He hated progress & economic growth led by diaspora Indians of Silicon Valley. He hated PVT sector businesses. He truly believed that India was better off staying poor rather than allowing private enterprise (he found entrepreneurs arrogant). I suspect there might still be many more old Indian civil servants (Babus) who hate growth - because they can’t control it. Watch out for them & keep exposing. Was following @harsh_mander - another toxic Babu who has nothing but hatred for successful entrepreneurs. His videos spew hatred for India & it’s global success, it’s progress. Thankfully he’s old & defanged but still poisonous. Watch out.

Besides, there are several other criminal defamation cases pending against Rahul Gandhi, including the high profile case of mudslinging the venerable Veer Savarkar, filed by the freedom fighter’s family. Rahul Gandhi is also an accused, along with his mother Sonia Gandhi, in the National Herald scam, and currently out on bail. Conviction in any of these can lead to his disqualification, again. Let’s not forget that veteran leaders like Lalu Prasad, J Jayalalitha among others have faced disqualification, following convictions. Rahul Gandhi is on thin ice here. But for now the Parliament can do with some levity.
