A) Don't need to blow for a goal kick B) The ball has actually stopped C) Ref is already turning to run up the pitch until it hits the defender so surely he wasn't gonna pull it back for a moving ball before that D) Same argument for players in the box #FFC

@ffc2004 @JF0RSURE__ He was in the box before and after the ball fell to him so would have been disallowed anyway. In the same way encroachment during a penalty gets penalised. Hope that helps

@Sir_Wigster Arguably we should have had enough, especially if that goal isn't ruled out, but to dominate as we did and not create was poor. Equally on another day you bag a couple. Soft penalty to win, the one on Bobb not long before seemed to have more contact. Either way, we didn't perform

@ffc2004 You can still see it moving as he goes to kick it. Silva underestimated us with his team selection thinking it would be a walkover. He’s ruined your best chance to get to have a shot in the cup. We weren’t clinical either we had 3 big chances and didn’t finish them. Good game tho

@footballontnt @tntsports @discoveryplusUK Saints got out of jail. However, goalscorer was in the box when the kick was taken. That is not allowed. This is irrespective of referee saying it was a moving ball( this is spurious, and think the ref used that to get out of jail)

@ffc2004 You can’t have an opposition player in the box regardless if it’s taken quick or not. The ball was still moving as he kicked it you can see on the footage
