400,000,000 subscribers! A decade ago before I blew up everyone in my life told me I was to obsessed and constantly told I’d never make it. Despite that I was in love with making content and grinded every moment my eyes were open for 7 years before anyone started watching. I literally told my mom I’d rather be homeless than do anything else. The greatest gift in life is being able to wake up everyday with a purpose and thanks to YouTube and you guys, I have that. Very sad for the passing of the incredible @SusanWojcicki. I will always remember how much she managed from the heart - running YouTube during hyper-growth years, deeply caring about people and prioritizing time with her husband and 5 kids. She was an inspiration to all.

Today we @youtube lost a teammate, mentor, and friend, @SusanWojcicki. I had the good fortune of meeting Susan 17 years ago when she was the architect of the DoubleClick acquisition. Her legacy lives on in everything she touched @google and @youtube. I am
forever grateful for her friendship and guidance. I will miss her tremendously. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones.
