@fgrhoops @LadyMustangBB Cain - Taylor is pointing out your argument is lame. It is. Not because 61% voted against it, but bc you’re trying to pigeonhole every AD into the reasoning they don’t want it is bc they don’t want extra work, When, in fact, there are many legitimate reasons that may be the case

If 61% of Athletic Director’s don’t want a shot clock then I bet 61% of AD’s don’t schedule Saturday home games, won’t host district/regionals and secretly want their teams to lose in the playoffs so they don’t have to go to another road game

seeing a lot of post about how great these coaches are after the tourney runs, and rightfully so. But guess what parents they were great in January too when your child got benched or when you dropped a close game..#justsayin 💯💯

@FromTheSeidline I said it before and I will say it again, go 5 division and I would agree with you. I don’t see how a school with 450 kids should expect to compete with a school with 2200 kids. That’s too far a jump. Now that same school would be D3 and a jump to D2 would be fair.

With all due respect, the fact that they went 1-19 years ago simply means they were unable to take advantage of the uneven playing field (or court). You and I have been over the difference between school districts with boundaries and ones that control their enrollment. And the school of choice argument is garbage since even though most public schools accept SOC students, none have student bodies consisting of 100% SOC. All of that said, any legitimate competitive balance plan would have a safety net that would protect struggling schools from being forced up a division or two. Or maybe separate tournaments is the best way to go...😳 Perhaps you and I should apply to serve on that "study group" that the position statement committee is proposing to the MHSAA. I think we both have something to offer. 😎

@fgrhoops I am from Tx and this is absolutely the worst argument I have ever seen. 🙄 Come on if you want a shot clock, displacing blame on an AD is lame. Or is it that you can’t get an AD gig, so let’s just bash them?

@coachrex And coaching at a school whose AD supports what’s best for the game and supports their coaches is everything

For everyone commenting on why we coaches are wrong to rip the ADs for voting down the shot clock, and giving all the excuses for why we can’t do it, just know, in 2 years, we will be possibly the only state that doesn’t have it and the only level of basketball anywhere

@Bett220 Is that what you pay someone in HS football to run your play clock?

@fgrhoops BS statement. Wish everyone who wants a shot clock would step up and donate money for the cost incurred with it. When I retired as an AD 5 years ago, it would have been an extra $3000 in worker fees a year and I want to say under $10,000 for the installation. Won’t discuss oth

@fgrhoops @SeanCriderBB This is the worst argument for a high school shot clock I’ve ever seen. Difficult to understand its genesis or its connection to any issue.

Now this is taking the #ClubVsCommunity advantage to another level! #6onTheFloor 😳😉 Fortunately, for everyone involved, the shot missed its mark. And, quite honestly, I don't think the officials deserve a lot of criticism here. The last thing on their minds in this situation is counting players. I was watching the game and didn't notice it…although it definitely explains how this kid got so wide open. 😂

I have been blessed to have coached these two for the last 4 years. 87 wins in 4 years (school record) is absolutely amazing! You have made me a better coach and a better person. You will be missed!!! @Vanessa_rod07 @AvaRod11
