President Trump again today was firm and unequivocal that Iran will not be allowed to continue to possess over 900 lbs. of highly enriched uranium. Iran could use it to make a dirty bomb or in the future could potentially weaponize it at 90 percent. He again today reinforced his determination not to allow Iran to have a path to a nuclear weapon. There is no path to a nuclear weapon without enrichment capability. The president has been insistent that Iran not be allowed to enrich because of their history of cheating.   This along with the stated goal to make sure Iran cannot continue to support terrorist proxies are, in my view, the red lines for negotiations for good reason.   Time will tell.

If the reason the military campaign against Iran did not resume today is because the Gulf states feared they would come under Iranian attack, then the war is over and Iran won it. If the Gulf states are so fearful that they capitulate and won’t support taking out the aggressor, then Iran has the leverage and holds the cards, now and in the future. Iran started this war. It’s time to finish the job and bring it to a successful end.

Yes, oil at $108 is a problem and yes, the higher rates that come with it are too. But hear me on this; Trump has a plan for both Iran and the Strait and this transit problem will soon be solved. Right now we have an overbought market that needs more bears. That process has already started. But watch what happens over the next couple of weeks, as the markets start front- running $NVDA earnings on 5/20. Because, the world’s never seen an earnings report like the one Nvidia is going to deliver. My call: if you’re not long for the remainder of 2026…you’re wrong.
