Simple Mam. Electoral politics is about numbers. The mandate was against dmk but it was a split mandate. Both TVK and Admk were given the mandate. However Vijay chose to ignore Admk. Rather he did the mistake of wooing the congress which had just won seats seeking mandate for Stalin and dmk. His side were also trying to poach mlas from Admk. He does not have the majority. He is not having the maturity to hold talks with Admk officially. He wants the unethical , immoral support of parties like congress , left and Vck who have just now won the elections on dmk strength. He also wants to break admk. Arithmetically Politically Morally Ethically Legally Vijay has erred. He can’t now complain the other side of doing politics. If you are bad , Admk is your DAD.

My humble advice to @actorvijay, the only way you can become CM now is, break alliance with Congress and reach out to BJP for help ask them to negotiate a deal with Admk. No way BJP will let you get 117 mla support when you have Congress with you.Understand the politics happening in other states. If you fail to compromise with bjp consequences will be severe, I fear what happened to Sasikala in 2017 might happen to you in 2026

The TN Govt should operate old-age homes to accommodate people who are suffering like this. I watched a 1988 Malayalam film on a friend's recommendation- Moonnam Pakkam. It makes me wonder if Mallu movies were brilliant even in the 80s (no overacting or fights, beautiful art direction, actors that look like everyday people) when most other Indian movies were cringe.

Almost every Tamil journalist I spoke to today says TVK will take mostly AIADMK vote and much smaller number of DMK votes. Many of them are predicting 150-160+ for DMK alliance. Also almost all of them are giving Vijay at least 20% overall vote share. I am completely gobsmacked. I still maintain Vijay will largely be an urban phenomenon and I do not expect him to cross 15% max in rural areas, maybe even dropping to 10% or lower in some seats. I believe there is serious overestimation being done of TVK's vote share. Maybe this post won't age well or maybe it will. Let us see on 4th May. #TNAssemblyElections
