Trump and Robert Mueller were born two years apart, both into wealthy families and both with private school upbringings.
Trump received five draft deferments during Vietnam and became a parasitic real estate baron.
Mueller volunteered for service, graduated from Officer Candidate School and Ranger School, was wounded in combat, and received a Bronze Star w/ Valor for rescuing one of his wounded soldiers under intense enemy fire.
And that pretty much crystallizes both the difference between the two and Trump's toxic jealousy toward Mueller.

As our Commander in Chief, he is responsible for determining what is and is not an imminent threat, and whether or not to take action he deems necessary to protect the safety and security of our troops, the American people and our country. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence is responsible for helping coordinate and integrate all intelligence to provide the President and Commander in Chief with the best information available to inform his decisions. After carefully reviewing all the information before him, President Trump concluded that the terrorist Islamist regime in Iran posed an imminent threat and he took action based on that conclusion.

For the life of me I've never understood why the press and the political class find it so difficult to talk about @realDonaldTrump's severe and manifest personality disorders.
These disorders may be impossible for any professional to treat, but they are easily understandable to any intelligent lay person who can read and follow along.
Indeed, Donald Trump's mental illnesses and the American press and political class's appalling and shameless cowardice in failing to address them will be someday be a mandatory part of the curriculum for secondary-school and university students the world over.

Oil is a global commodity.
U.S. oil companies can sell their oil to anyone in the world and they won't sell it to a local refinery for $70 if a buyer in Europe or Asia is willing to pay $100 because of a Middle East shortage.
You aren't paying more because the U.S. is running out of gas; you're paying more because U.S. oil is part of a global auction, and the auction just got a lot more expensive because of the war.

In March of 2022, in response to the Ukraine War causing oil prices to spike above $100/barrels, Biden released 180 million barrels over 6 months from the SPR. This was 8 months before the midterms. In March of 2026, in response to the Iran War causing oil prices to spike above $100/barrel, Trump is releasing 172 million barrels from the SPR over 5 months. This is 8 months before the midterms.
