“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die.’” - John 11:25–26 Jesus spoke these words to Martha in deep grief over Lazarus’ death. His promise brought comfort, though its fullness was not yet understood. The cross and the empty tomb were still ahead. On this Good Friday, we stand on the other side of that moment. What was once a promise has been fulfilled through the cross and the resurrection, the most decisive event in history. Each week, we consider markets, economics, and politics. These matter, but today reminds us they are temporary. Scripture tells us life is but a vapor. How much more fleeting are the rise and fall of markets or governments? These things are not ultimate. The cross and empty tomb reframe everything. Because of Christ, sin is atoned for, death is defeated, and hope is secured for all who believe. This is not abstract truth. The gospel is the historical reality that God has made a way for sinners to be reconciled to Him. We do not earn it, we receive it by grace through faith, not by works. The thief on the cross shows this clearly. With nothing to offer, he simply believed, and it was enough. Not because of him, but because of Christ. Praise God! At Financial Issues, we speak often about stewardship. But the greatest stewardship is the gospel itself: to believe it, hold fast to it, and live in light of it. Every decision finds its place through eternity’s lens. So today, let us return to the cross. Let us remember what was accomplished there, not vaguely, but with clarity and gratitude. Let us preach this truth to our own hearts: that Christ has done what we could never do, and that in Him we have been given life that cannot be taken away. From all of us at Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries, may your Easter be marked not only by joy but by a deep and abiding assurance in the finished work of Christ. He is risen. He is risen indeed.

@financialissues Sure miss hearing his voice, but also, I'm so thankful to everyone who has been filling his shoes. FISM could have easily folded after his passing, but y'all have been so faithful to continue on with his vision.

As we mark the fourth anniversary of Dan Celia’s homegoing today, we pause to remember and give thanks for the life and legacy of our founder. Dan was a man who truly sought to live “as a son of Issachar,” with an understanding of the times and a steadfast commitment to serving the Lord through biblical stewardship. Anyone who knew Dan understood his deep love for the Lord, his devotion to his wife and family, and his unwavering passion for this ministry. Through his vision, faith, and determination, God established Financial Issues Stewardship Ministries on a strong foundation, one that continues to guide and equip believers to be wise and faithful stewards. While his homegoing left a profound void, his legacy lives on through the work of this ministry and the community of partners who continue to carry that mission forward each day. We are grateful for the example he set and the countless lives impacted through his faithful obedience to God’s calling. Thank you for continuing to stand with us as partners in the mission Dan was so passionate about. Together, we will continue to build on the foundation he helped establish, all for the glory of God.

This Easter, you have the opportunity to share the hope of Christ with a child in a public school. Write a short Easter message, and the Crossroads Kids Club team will handwrite it in a real card and deliver it to a child in one of their after-school clubs. It’s completely free—and a small message could remind a child they are seen, known, and loved by Jesus. Let’s flood public schools with hope this Easter. Visit reachourschools.com to send your message by March 22.
