Breaking News.
Mitch Sylvester has confirmed that he has enough signatures to meet the cirizens initiative threshold to trigger an independence referendum.
That doesn't mean he's slowing down. Quite the contray. Pedal to the metal until late April to collect as many signatures as possible.
"We need this too big to rig".
He also confirmed that the Smith government is working on legislation that will allow scruteneers to witness the signature count by Elections Alberta (ie Bill 23)

We don't need it. After we vote to separate and negotiate our share of the debt and other considerations, we're gone. The remaining 9 provinces and 3 territories that make up Canada will have to amend their constitution to delete the word Alberta, and re-adjust the distributions of seats in the two chambers (and other matter), but we won't care. We'll be free. Once we're gone, you losers from Ontario will have to take over the burden of supporting Quebec and the Maritimes.
