As soon as you pick up a weapon and threaten me with it you're no longer a child. Step into an adult's world and get treated like one. First thing I would've done is gone for the weapon and the secondhand would've gone around his neck. Making him afraid you're going to snap it and then wait for him to cry. Then let go put in your headphones and listen to some stupid YouTube videos. That will be the last time he bothers you. The start of people only respond to violence. I learned this in school very quickly. Guy is picking on me pushing me around and sometimes hit me. Eventually I had enough so the next time he tried to miss me I had but I didn't and then picked him up with both hands and slammed him on the ground and on the way down I punched him in the stomach so he would hit the ground even harder. Everyone was watching so you could see he was fighting back the tears. After that he never even came near me again let alone talked to me. The same method would solve this situation in a second but the one difference is that it looks like he's with a group of friends and you don't know if they also have weapons and are actually willing to use them so unless they physically attack you first you have to defend yourself the best course of action is to try not to antagonise them any further and wait to get off the bus. Even a professional fight it will lose if hes outnumbered. Only takes one stab or blows the head with enough force and you're fucked. Of course the way around this is next time bring two or three of your your friends with you and make them all piss themselves. I'm not even saying you need to physically injure them at all. All you need to do is completely overpower them until they realise you are incomplete control and if you wanted you could snap their bones and they couldn't do anything about it. Once you see that realisation in their eyes you let go. Simple. Problem solved.
