Hi. Over the last 24 hours we had three separate small incidents that affected Codex reliability. Those are three too many and we are taking active steps for them to not reproduce. I have reset usage limits for Codex across all paid plans. May the tokens flow again.

GPT 5.6 is imminent. Polymarket has it near 93% by June 30. And I'll say it plainly: I think it beats Claude Opus 4.8. OpenAI is shipping base models every 6 weeks now and Codex has been eating Claude Code's lunch on installs. But here's what most people are missing. If GPT 5.6 is just another small step up, it doesn't matter. Because Claude Mythos is coming in the same window, and Mythos is a new class entirely, not a point release. GPT 5.6 will beat 4.8. Mythos will beat GPT 5.6. If OpenAI plays it safe with another incremental drop, Anthropic takes the entire frontier with one move. The leap isn't 5.6. The leap is Mythos.

Something feels off with the Codex usage limits today. I've already had to cycle through 6 GPT Pro 20x accounts today on a single dev machine. Can't remember ever needing to do that before... seems like even the ending of the 2x usage deal wouldn't explain such a big step change.
