@MandaLHuber Seriously! I’m all for it. I am gonna be at the Virginia Dynamite next week actually 😂 Bunnies are super fun though!
English

@finnfinn309 Omg, if that happens I might be driving to MD to drop them all with you 😂
English

@MandaLHuber If you were closer to MD, I would offer to take him or her in. I have 6 bunnies. One of mine was set loose outside too. I brought her in and 4 days later, she had 4 babies.

Hey @amazon I’m getting really sick of receiving packages that reek of weed. I have young children in my home. This is the 3rd time it has happened, and I’m fed up. Do something about who you hire! Not everyone wants to smell it.

Baltimore!!! Yessss! And the venue is only 5 minutes from my house. Woohoo!

@end3of6days9 The lab work takes 5 minutes: I’ve been in the medical field for 18 years, and I’ve had to stay late and wait for patients to be done plenty of times. This is uncalled for. What a low, rude asshole.

💉 A high-risk pregnant woman shows up with her mom at LabCorp in Odessa, Texas, at 3:50 PM — just 10 minutes before they close at 4:00.
The employee refuses to do her blood draw and tells them it was “rude” to come so close to closing, comparing it to walking into a restaurant right before they lock the doors.
Her doctor told her to get there before 4:00, which they did, but they still refuse to do the bloodwork. The employee says they’re being belligerent and asks them to leave, then tells them that if they don’t leave she’ll call the police for trespassing.
Do you think they should have made an exception to their rule for this mom? Especially since she’s a high-risk pregnancy and it sounds like she’s being induced in a few days.
I absolutely would have worked later to make sure this mom-to-be got the bloodwork she needed. She’s in enough stress as it is.

You wake tomorrow to this ❄️ What is the first thing you do?
English

@itsvedatime Ahh yes, don’t you love it? I’ve worked front desk in a doctors office, and we’ve had people put their speaker phone on at max volume and start fighting with the person on the other end. 😳 it used to drive me crazy.
English

Seriously! That’s why I stopped working directly with the public. Also, I got tired of being treated like crap from people:

I’ll be at Dynamite next week! I’m pretty dang excited, and I’ll be working on some fun signs this weekend. Maybe there will be a @KennyOmegamanX appearance? 🤞🏻either way, it’s gonna be fun! I’m doing my first ‘Experience’ also. Gonna be a good day! 😊

@finnfinn309 Thank you so much! Same here if you ever need anything as well. We all need another weekend like All In last year.

Cancer is something I never truly understood because I had no real experience with it. Like most people, I think I associated it with chemotherapy and losing your hair.
But what I witnessed over the last five months taking care of my mother is something I will never forget.
It is vicious. It is ugly. It destroys you from the inside out. It breaks you down mentally and physically. It feels slow while you’re in it, but when you look back, you realize how fast it really moves.
The one thing I am most proud of is that my mom never stopped fighting. Not once. Not all the way to the very end.
Even when she was slipping in and out, becoming less responsive, and hadn’t spoken all day… when I told her it was okay to let go and that the pain could end… she got this sudden burst of strength, opened her eyes, and said, “I’m sleeping.”
Me and my sister laughed, because that was so her.
That fight she had inside of her is something I’m incredibly grateful was passed down to me.
My mom was a great woman. We had our differences, but as I reflect on everything, I find myself smiling more than anything. And when I feel anxiety, sadness, or that emptiness from her not being here, I just say thank you.
I’m thankful her suffering is over. The final weeks were incredibly hard. You could see the life being taken from her day by day. But even then, she didn’t stop.
She still went outside and sat in the sun every day. She still found the strength to go on nightly walks, even with her body failing her.
Those are moments I will cherish forever.
Death is a part of life. We all face it in different ways, at different times. There is no perfect ending. There is no “right” time.
But I believe energy never dies. It just changes form.
And I believe she’s still with me, just in a different way now. That gives me peace.
I’m going to continue sharing things about my mom, because it makes me feel good and keeps her with me.
I love you, Mom. Always.

@PixelProtocol @Ryback That’s hard. I’m so sorry to hear that. I watched my mom go through hell before she passed. Feel free to reach out if you ever need to chat!
English

@Ryback Going through this right now, and it is very hard. Soul crushing to see a parent suffer and not be able to just take it on yourself. I'm going to try to have the same takeaway as you when everything is done, where at least she won't be in pain anymore.
I'm sorry for your loss.
Reidsville, NC 🇺🇸 English

@Ryback I am so sorry for your loss. I watched my mom go from this independent, strong person to needing 24/7 care, and not being able to walk. She passed on 07/19/23. Her death has completely changed who I am. I miss her more and more each day. I’d give anything for 5 more minutes.
