Problem - not enough doctors, consultants & GPs for the demand. Solution - train enough doctors, consultants & GPs. Reality - those who could have achieved this have chosen not to. Political choice @DHSCgovuk @NHSE_WTE @gmcuk @AoMRC. Leadership needed to reverse this absurdity.
Dr Tony Goldstone@goldstone_tony

Genuinly flabbergasted by this choice of wording & @gmcuk could possibly think "with more doctors than ever before choosing locally employed (LE) roles" Please can @drcolinm or GMC confirm that this was a social media faux pas, and you actually know its not a "choice" per 👇

It started well in Girona. 80km into a beautiful ride I touched wheels with Simon (my fault) and left a fair bit of skin on the road. I now have a Morel-Lavallée seroma on my hip. Which I had never heard of and is very attractive .

Dear @VictoriaAtkins Why do you persist in the misleading statement that junior doctors got the "most generous" deal in the public sector. These charts 👇 *VERY CLEARLY* show that *EVEN AFTER* 9/12 of the DDRB, they are *STILL* the group have the biggest shortfall by some margin (new data out next week, will no doubt, show very similar). You should also note that both Scotland and Wales have offered higher pay awards to juniors. Government have, in my opinion, been prolonging this dispute with juniors for far too long without making them a credible offer that can start to reverse this disgraceful erosion of their pay shown below. You can put this dispute to bed by making a credible offer to bring about path to #PayRestoration. But you have chosen not too. Thats a political choice. And poor political choices come with consequences. Do the right thing and make them an offer today

My response to letter from @TheBMA Junior Doctors Committee 👇 These planned strikes are cynical and will harm patients. The BMA must call them off.

@SusilPallikada1 Yes I think it is as it could have been worded differently or given back as a question! I can’t watch anymore election propaganda 🙄

Wes Streeting’s answer to the manifesto on social care/economy was well considered. Laura Kuenssberg’s subsequently comment (not even a question!!) “well the last Labour government didn’t have to deal with a pandemic/energy shortage” Is this impartial journalism?!

When I sat MRCP part 2, I said to Mumma Ricketts that it was the hardest exam I’d ever taken, and if somehow I passed it I’d do some bragging. Well here’s some bragging

@Lucyclizine Passmed is hard so don’t beat yourself up about the scores, track you are getting questions correct if you answer again. Check exam technique- use the cover test as the answers are set up to distract you! Students always perform better on grade than what they perceive after exam.

I've been involved in the scope creep fiasco for a long time. I am astute at identifying bulls**t when I see it. Two very common strategies used to legitimize the illegitimate are false advertising and gaslighting. Below is false advertising. One cannot claim a UK PA is a
