@ShewagaMike @rpaproski @BCFerries I arrived at Duke point terminal at 16:19 for our 5:45 reservation to find it cancelled. Ended up buying a standard ticket for the 10:45 sailing as the 8:15 was already full. Cold and no snack bar available. Was never notified of the cancellation. Sad!!
English

@rpaproski @BCFerries Considering all ferries are “full” right now and into tomorrow morning (first 3 sailings on what’s viewable) I’m led to believe BC Ferries has now filled up other sailings with reservations to the 100% mark. If that’s the case they should be transparent in their service notices.
English

Weather conditions have improved on our #DukePoint - #Tsawwassen route. Service will resume starting with the 8:15 pm departures from each terminal.

@BCFerries @Chavokitty This is garbage. Sorry. I arrived for the 5:45 only to learn it is cancelled, without any form of notification. We travelled from up island. Poor customer service I have to say. The 10:45 hopefully goes later.
English

@Chavokitty Hi there - we apologize for the inconvenience. We are experiencing high call volumes and we are having issues with our booking system. We are advising customers to call back or try rebooking online later today. ^sp

@Chavokitty @BCFerries @environmentca Well doesn’t that frost you. We have a reservation for the 5:45 sailing from Duke Point. We travelled from upisland and just arrived at the terminal. We were informed that our sailing is cancelled, yet we were never notified. Last contact was yesterday with a confirmation
English

@BCFerries @environmentca How long does it take before someone contacts you?
English

@BCFerries Sorry but the Queen of Surrey that finishes up on the Langdale to Horseshoe bay once again is delayed by at least 30 minutes before it is ready to sail to sail to Departure Bay. This is a chronic event for the 6:35 sailing. We have been stung by this glitch quite often.
English

#CurrentConditions as of 2:04 pm #HorseshoeBay - #DepartureBay
3:45 pm sailing
- 46% space remaining for drive-up
6:35 sailing
- 64% space remaining for drive-up

@davidlmccolm Was out there last week and had fantastic weather all week. The cloud, Sun, waves and shoreline provides such wonderful opportunity for the photographer for sure to “capture that moment at the moment”

English

@steeletalk I share my condolences with you Lynda. I went through the exact same experience with my Dad, was with him when he took his last breathe can be a huge trauma for you. Every day you had with your Dad while he was suffering with dementia was a gift. Make sure you take time to grieve
English

@Tyrkinator @GlobalBC @KGordonGlobalBC Cool picture. Our overhead skies give us some of the greatest photo opportunities, but the key is capturing those moments and that moment in time, for as quickly as they appear they can just as quickly disappear.
English

Yes!! My photo that I took today of one of the spots where I played Street Hockey back while growing up made @GlobalBC at 5:00pm this evening!! Thank you @KGordonGlobalBC and @GlobalBC News!!🏒🥅

@shirleybond @Dave_Eby What is the Premier to do….order sick employees or those on family vacation, back to work? Shirley, apparently you have a plan, but would it work at all or make things worse? You know, like me, that when an employee phones in sick, particularly last moment you can’t ask why?
English

@ReneeMerrifiel3 Hi Renee. I remember back to when and Ms Cadieux was the minister and these issues arose time and time again. Correct me if I’m wrong please
English

Don't look away.
Our most vulnerable children are not being protected. This report shows a shocking 236% increase in critical injuries and deaths since the BC NDP have been in charge.
We are in yet another BC NDP caused crisis.
The BC NDP have NOT implemented 83% of the recommendations since 2017.
Children are dying under this government.
We need change and BC United can fix it.

@BCFerries @prismafestival Couldn’t understand why the windows in the vehicle next to me were all fogged up and didn’t want to investigate. Poor dog in the SUV in front. It was a bumpy boat ride

The car alarm symphony - let’s just say... it's not for everyone 🎼

@KGordonGlobalBC Havent been on a BCFerry ride as bumpy as it is right now….for quite some time. Just amazing how many vehicles have car alarms, creating quite an orchestra on board but all playing the same tune. Announcements cautioning passengers to remain seated.
English

@KGordonGlobalBC Or this afternoon at McKenzie Beach. Just doesn’t get any better this time of year.

English

@KGordonGlobalBC Florencia Bay, West coast of Vancouver island right now. Listening to the waves roll in - serene and peaceful for sure

English

@toddstonebc Ummmmm really Todd. For the 16 years you were in Government, never did you talk like that……like now you really care? The hiring of Coulson Aviation years ago would have addressed the newer technologies and quicker responses and night time firefighting. You did nothing and now?
English

Wildfire season has begun in BC and I extend my gratitude to our brave firefighters and everyone that works so tirelessly to safeguard our communities.
It's essential that we provide additional personnel and resources swiftly, better leverage local and indigenous knowledge, and adopt new and innovative technologies to hit new fires faster and harder. #bcpoli
English

@ReneeMerrifiel3 So that’s the only future Renee. WOW. Certainly a narrow minded politician if you ask me. What about everything else that is happening out there in the real world.
English

The only future worth having includes ending this dangerous and destructive decriminalization experiment and invest in treatment.

@bchydro My daughter was told by her strata council that owners could not install EV chargers of any level (and air conditioners/heat pumps too) until a complete energy audit was done to determine if the main service feed could handle the elevated demands.

@RobShaw_BC @KahlonRav @Dave_Eby Hey Rob. What about strata’s. They don’t have “landlords”, …. rather owners. I know this was an item in the news a while back.
English

Not entirely sure what else it does... will have to read the bill. @KahlonRav listed off a whole bunch of things. @Dave_Eby set to speak about them later in Victoria.
English

@voteBCUnited I’m sure the Kamloops Firefighters and every other group of professional first responders will be happy (not) that you do not like unions. That’s what I see in this statement Kevin. .
