GRIEF SUPPORT I sat across from a grief counselor today, unsure if I was there to talk or just survive the hour. My chest felt tight, my thoughts scattered, like my body still didn’t understand she’s gone. I learned grief isn’t just emotional—it’s physical, my nervous system trying to process a life that vanished. I spoke in fragments, but somehow that was enough. Nothing was fixed. Nothing was solved. But I wasn’t alone in it for once. I walked out still broken, still aching—but a little less lost. And for now, that feels like the smallest, most important step forward I have.
