Before cell phones, my parents had one of these (CB)beasts mounted in a big tower in our yard. We carried a walkie on our BMX bikes as we rode around the countryside all day. Any emergency, we could reach home base. I still carry an unlocked walkie in my truck out of habit.

@RonnieAdkins I know several people who have 1:1 airsoft copies who have carefully weighted the gun to practice draws/etc.

As far as manipulating and handling a firearm, one to one airsoft copies are great training tools actually. It’s basically dry fire with plastic BBs.
