You know it's clear Trump and his admin are doing crazy stuff but it really doesn't help that whenever they do something, it turned out that there was at least some truth to it Like look at ICE raiding the Hyundai factory. It's bonkers but then we discover than many of the workers were indeed there with the incorrect visas.

Prepping for a negotiation by getting someone who knows who you’re negotiating with to give some advice is a good thing Carney isn’t bringing the Heritage guy in to plan macroeconomic policy, let’s not be dumb

@randyhillier Randy, do you ever think that a lot of Pro-Israel boomers are actually just racist and may enjoy seeing Gaza flatlined? I don’t like to pull the racist card very often but I cannot explain rationally why individuals would go to great lengths to justify Israel’s actions.

Why is the West silent on war crimes committed by Israel. Why is Trump supportive of these war crimes? Surely, a hospital can't be mistaken as a military installation.
MonitorX@MonitorX99800

🚨🇮🇱🇵🇸⚡#BREAKING - Earlier today Israel killed 20 Palestinians, including 4 journalists, in IDF strike on the Nasser hospital in southern Gaza strip. According to al-Hout, the first strike targeted the fourth floor of a building inside the hospital compound. Several minutes later, a second strike took place that targeted reporters and a rescue team who tried to reach the casualties of the first strike. Four journalists and one aid worker were among those killed in the second strike. The journalists have been identified as Hussam al-Masri, a contractor cameraman for Reuters, Mariam Dagga, a freelance reporter for the Associated Press, al-Jazeera's Mohammed Salama, NBC's Moaz Abu Taha.

@carnage526 @randyhillier You can admire attributes of any group without agreeing entirely with them my man. What’s Randy to do, side with Israel, who are actively committing a genocide? 😳

You've got to admire the tenacity and determination of the Houthis. For nearly 2 years, they have effectively quarratined the Israelis port of Eliat and significantly harmed/disrupted the Israelis economy in their support for the starving Palestinians. After relentless attacks by the USA, the Americans said enough was enough and left. The Israelis keep attacking, but the Houthis don't stop.

Former MPP vindicated as Ontario lockdown laws struck down as unconstitutional. 2 more charges were withdrawn, and only 11 remain. After 5 years fighting illegal mandates, 23 wins and 0 losses in the courts so far. rebelnews.com/former_mpp_vin…

I think we need to face that SBET just isnt good at communicating or preparing in advance. Remember that one week that we had to wait because they could not extend their ATM yet? Waste of a week when time is of the essence.

@Prominent_Bryan The Freedom Convoy deserves some appreciation because people that actually had the balls to take a stand for something. Something that moderates would never do.

You know I get really tired of the so-called moderates' take on the hiking ban and, more generally, the covid restrictions we had While I recognize that many of the criticism can come from full on libertarians who would accept no restrictions whatsoever, the 'moderates' are really annoying because they will never ever argue against ANY measures I don't know if it's because they are intellectually empty or if they just want to 'belong' to the 'right' group, but how come we don't have some of these "common sense moderates" supporting some restrictions but opposing others? In the NS case, you could support most restrictions but still find the specific hiking ban to be stupid. Similarly during Covid, you could have supported mask wearing in general but agreed that having to wear a mask to walk to your restaurant table was dumb. Or that schools shouldn't be closed. Or, my favorite: at the very least oppose the freaking curfew! But we never saw that. The 'pro measures' moderates would defend everything. And they always hide under either a supposed deferential superiority ("just listen to the experts" even if these very same experts would recommend a curfew in Quebec but nothing in BC...) or they mischaracterize the other side ("you'd have helped the Nazi if you don't think a hiking ban makes sense! Why don't you want to make some sacrifices for the good of the community???") We are such a sad county when it comes to political debate. And while many will blame the extremes, I actually think the 'centrists' have a large burden to carry for the state of the discourse in this nation
