Government regulation of speech is expressly prohibited by the first amendment. What you call misinformation, disinformation and lies are protected speech. “Even in a decade marred by online grifters, shameless politicians, and an alternative right-wing-media complex pushing anti-science fringe theories, the events of the past few weeks stand out for their depravity and nihilism.” You might as well be talking about mainstream news and all the lies they’ve spread about Trump and his supporters. Or you could talk about the lie that people can choose their gender or switch sexes. Also lies. The information people on the right or not-left get wrong or spread to gain viewers and followers are not nearly as dangerous as the lies, misinformation and disinformation the left peddles - just as Donald Trump who’s been the target of two assassination attempts. Or ask the children and young adults harmed and maimed by the lies of gender identity ideology. You need to take a look in the mirror and ask if you really want the government to have the power to decide what things can be said online.

FLASHBACK: Remember when the Easter Bunny hopped into the White House Rose Garden on a crisp spring morning, his basket full of colored eggs and resolve. For Easter. For America. Or at least until the next nap.” Biden turned, gave a thumbs up that looked more like a tremor, and faced the waiting press. “Happy Easter, folks. God bless… uh… you know, the thing, orange man bad.” The Bunny watched from the shadows, shaking his head. Even magical rabbits have their limits. Some lost causes just keep hopping in circles.
