I congratulate President Donald Trump on his extraordinary efforts to pursue peace and for holding a very useful and productive telephone call earlier today, with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan and Pakistan. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented Pakistan in the telephone call and I greatly appreciate his tireless efforts during the entire process. The discussions provided a useful opportunity to exchange views on the current regional situation and how to move the ongoing peace efforts forward to bring lasting peace in the region. Pakistan will continue its peace efforts with utmost sincerity and we hope to host the next round of talks very soon.

The world is mad and controlled by the most insane. "As Taliban recognises child marriage, Afghans 'marry off' girls and BABIES - and can only hope they are not raped before they even hit puberty." dailymail.com/news/article-1…

Boxing fans/media (disrespectfully) dismissed Francis versus Fury. I maintain until this day Francis won that fight. They did the exact same thing to Rico. And tonight Rico was a robbed of a chance to shock the world. You have to run that back.

Millwall finished 3rd on the log table with 83 points - Southampton finished 4th on the log table with 80 points - Middlesbrough finished 5th on the log table with 80 points - Hull City finished the league with 73 points sitting 6th Now guess who is back in the Premier League? Hull that finished 6th This play off should be scrapped sincerely because I don't see the reason why Millwall didn't qualify since they finished 3rd

I was confident I could of played a major part this summer for my country after the season I’ve had. I’ve been left shocked and gutted by the decision. I’ve loved nothing more than putting that shirt on and representing my country over the years. I wish the players, all the best this summer 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

So this is really interesting, @narindertweets. You've got a guy - @TRobinsonNewEra - who has been demonised by the Left for being a racist. He, however, denies this and has always had friends from different backgrounds. When he goes for an Indian however, you guys use that as some sort of 'gotcha'? Meanwhile, the Far-Right absolutely despise him - on my show, one of them called him a "multicultural, woke traitor". Like, seriously - what do you want him to do? What can he do to possibly appease you? What you don't know is that the owner of that restaurant is Indian (actually born and raised there) and is a huge Tommy fan. Many regulars (also Indian) heard he was going and turned up to meet and thank him. Tell me again why this is peak hypocrisy?
Narinder Kaur@narindertweets

Haha this is PEAK HYPOCRISY from Yaxley Lennon- March against immigrants all day… then sit down for a curry .. likely halal at a bengali restaurant in the evening. What a hypocrite

Tommy Robinson is due to speak at the Oxford Union on May 28 in a debate about Islam. 5Pillars understands that the Islamophobes Laurence Fox and Calvin Robinson will also participate. The right wing Tory politician Jacob Rees Mogg will be opposing Robinson in the debate, while Muslim representatives are also being sought. Oxford Union President Arwa Elreyyes, who is Palestinian, has been heavily criticised for inviting Robinson to speak at the prestigious institution and is coming under pressure from Muslim students as well as women's rights groups. But she has defended the decision on free speech grounds. Protests are expected to take place on the day of the debate.

With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34). telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

🚨BREAKING: Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani is reportedly open to helping fund Manchester United’s new stadium rebuild but would want shares in the club as part of any agreement. Sources close to the situation say Sheikh Jassim’s long-term vision has always been to elevate United beyond the level of clubs like Paris Saint-Germain by fully leveraging the club’s global power and commercial image. It’s now understood he would be willing to work alongside Jim Ratcliffe if the right structure can be agreed.

Ideal depth for next season in UCL: GK: Lammens, Vitek LB: N.Brown, Dorgu, Shaw RB: Dalot, Maz RCB: De Ligt, Maguire, Yoro LCB: Heaven, Licha, Shaw DM: Tchouameni, Baleba CM: Mainoo, Mateus AM: Bruno, Mount LW: Cunha, Ndiaye RW: Mbeumo, Amad ST: Sesko, Zirkzee, Mbeumo, Cunha Ideally would replace Mount with a MGW, bring in another CB due to injury prone options and a new ST if Zirkzee leaves on top of this! But can only see us signing five players so went with Tchouameni, Baleba, Mateus, Ndiaye and N. Brown!
