@RoyalFineArt I do like those shrouds which are erected to obscure ugly scaffolding but I never walk within the pedestrian tunnels through which the public is encouraged to walk. One of my first cases was an inquest into the death of two people, trapped and crushed beneath such scaffolding.

On a trip to London this morning, I decided to pay a visit to a place that is special to me. Not my best "guerilla apostrophe" (I cut it too small) but it was my first & it remains in place after 13 long years. Made of adhesive tape, it has caused no damage. Not "criminal damage"

In 2017 I was part of a team which uncovered 14 suspected Russian assassinations on UK soil. We found that despite intelligence, every single one was shut down by the police. One was Alexander Perepilichnyy, who faced repeated threats after fleeing Russia to Britain, and was found deadoutside his home in Surrey. Despite an expert detecting signs of a fatal plant poison in his stomach, the inquest into his passing ruled he died of “natural causes”. US spies said they passed MI6 high-grade intelligence indicating that Perepilichnyy was likely "assassinated on direct orders from Putin or people close to him” and lambasted the British police for their “botched” investigation. I welcome calls for his case, and the others, to be reinvestigated.
