Update on my brother's death. He was killed and died without dignity in Wythenshawe Hospital. He was sitting up in his hospital bed at midnight when his visitors left him. On his COPD meds, chatting normally. At 2am my sister in London received a call that he was dying of pneumonia and his meds were being stopped. When his visitors arrived back at the hospital at 8am he was writhing in agony with blood everywhere from his undressed arm injury. This continued until he was no longer able to breathe and he suffocated. Someone at the hospital sent him for an autopsy. He died of COPD. No pneumonia was present. COPD that was well treated and under control until 2am on the day of his death. Terrifying.

This is the old mayor of Bristol, Henry Michallat, a conservative councillor. And the new Mayor of Bristol, Yassin Mohamud, a Green councillor. Mohamud was born in Somalia and came to the UK about 20 years ago. He says that his focus will be on refugees and the “deprived areas where they live”. The problem is that Green voters have seen a bait and switch. Most who live in the Bristol area think that the Green Party is all about net zero and saving the planet but actually it is about doing the opposite - bringing in more people and allocating more resources to people who were born elsewhere. When will Green voters realise this?
