Growing an X account is actually a great example of how retention works People mostly don’t follow after seeing you just once. It usually takes several impressions before someone decides to trust or engage with an account. They need repeated exposure, consistent tone, and relevant content before committing to the follow button. But what happens next matters even more. The majority of accounts lose engagement over time because the audience stops finding value in what they see. People don’t unfollow immediately. They just scroll past, stop interacting, and eventually forget you exist. Retention is what keeps them from forgetting. It’s the ability to maintain interest after the initial attraction. When your content stays aligned with what your audience originally followed you for, when you keep showing up with consistency, their trust compounds. The same logic applies to Web3 communities. Getting a member to join your group is just the first step. If the experience after joining doesn’t match what brought them in, they disengage. Growth without retention means you’re constantly replacing lost attention instead of building on what you already earned. Retention turns reach into loyalty. It’s what separates a follower who scrolls past you from one who advocates for you.

Everyone sees the success, no one but you sees what it takes to get there. Since June 2023, I've been creating content, writing for brands, founders, creators. All of this while providing for my family, giving them time, and spending insane hours working too. Truth is, I never had the opportunities in life outside of Web3. So when I started gaining them here, I've been making the most of it, because it's something I've always wanted. I'm someone who works extremely hard at whatever I do, and I hate letting anyone down, especially myself. I probably also have a huge imposter syndrome, but that won't change the fact that I'll continue to give my best. Nothing comes easy, blood, sweat, tears and hard work.

Here's my entry for the coloring contest! As this is a collab between 3 of the cutest IPs on @AbstractChain and a coloring contest, i knew i had to show this to my lil sister and to my lil brother as well. But i also decided not to show them how the characters looks, their traits, etc etc so their mind wont try to copy the looks of the characters, i would rather let their creativity flow and get myself some new traits kek. And so i printed the copy and handed it to them, and told them to pick 1 character each to color. Guess which character my lil sister picked? Thats right, @FugzOfficial. When i asked her why this character (btw i couldn't explain the character to her myself so i said its a capaybara + penguin mix ahaha) she simply said it looks cute. ✨️ But before that she made me go and print 2 3 more copies for practice as she didn't want to ruin the "main canvas". After her, comes my lil brother's chance and guess which one did he choose? Its easy... GOD @godthedogabs. Coz it looks like a superhero, to be more specific, Superman. He also want to color him like superman, with the cape and all, but i said no. I told him to be creative and make something original, something that come from his own thinking and not to copy an existing character, and so he did. And to be completely honest as i said i never told them the character's traits, looks, or even the names, etc etc. But somehow he painted GOD like literally a GOD 🔥 (Tho the extended halo effect with no borders is my idea but still, even without those it sure does looks like a GOD) Call it coincidence or whatever but, GOD IS GOD. (GGs to @nishseq for creating such an incredible IP and also to @ProofOfEly for supporting it since the start 🔥) After that comes my chance to show some creativity (which i dont have at all in drawings and arts, all my creativity is gone into sh*tposts lmao). Luckily i was left with one of the easiest out of 3 (debatable with fugs but imo bearish is easy as it got those partitions in hands, stomach, etc etc), beary @bearish_af. 🔥 Tbh i wanted to make bearish more colorful too but then i decided to keep it simple as it will fit well with all those colors in the canvas... so i painted the whole bear purple as its my fav color. And it sure does looks good together, doesn't it? And with that, Thats all guys. Thats my entry for this cute contest. And yeah Big Thanks to all 3 cute IPs for this contest, it was super fun. This is how we make abs the fun chain. 💯
