@PodDamnAmerica When you're getting into the comedy stuff: I don't think any of this needs to be conspiratorial to be accurate. Artists whose families are various types of gusano have all sorts of motivation for inserting those politics into their art. It's in their interest

@Anthony_Parisii @MorganGodvin Cons to medetomidine though: it’s considerably more potent than xylazine, and unlike xyl it can cause a heart to stop. And dexmedetomidine would be a great safe supply alternative, but it’s gonna wreak havoc whenever it enters the supply at varying ratios & potencies

@MorganGodvin I’ve heard from people other tranq’s (metotomidine) actually do this without the amputations and assaults that happen when people use in public.

I’m a little disappointed in the online harm reduction community. From my West Coast perch, I read tales of xylazine as if it were an invading scourge. PEOPLE LOVE IT. It gets you high. Y’all kinda left that part out. The most fundamental aspect of the drug user experience./
