In the past two months since I started reading books, I have stopped using social entertainment platforms such as Xiaozhongshu and Douyin, and I no longer look at my mobile phone for a long time. Nowadays, a mobile phone is just a communication tool for me. I now go to bed early and get up early every day, and I am in good spirits, always having boundless energy! But now I have found a problem, that is, now I like to read books, and after starting to build my own spiritual world, I always feel a bit depressed and lonely. I began to talk less, and even when interacting with acquaintances, I always felt that there were no common topics, and I often remained silent. I also began to get used to walking alone on the road, eating alone, and doing things alone. A person is very quiet, and when a person is alone, their mind is free to roam. Will you become depressed and lonely if you read books for a long time? Or is this current state just a stage in the reading process?

Continuing along what I said last time, "silent love is a lighthouse in the distance," let's look at the lonely appearance of those who are awake. The books I have read in the past make me believe that on the way to cognitive peak, there must be an ultimate cold wave. There are Somerset Maugham, Hermann Hesse, and Gustave Flaubert, and their... “Each of us lives alone in the world. Everyone wants to pass on their torch to others, but no one can see another person's face.” —Somerset Maugham, "The Moon and Sixpence" “For everyone, there is only one true responsibility: to find oneself. Then hold on to it in your heart all your life, wholeheartedly, and never stop.” —— Hermann Hesse, Demian "We are all trying to penetrate the mist of life, but we find that the lights in everyone's hands can only illuminate the small space under their feet." —— Gustave Flaubert, Madame Bovary Rather than looking for like-minded people, we are looking for a certain structure for this restless heart. In fact, this kind of clarity does not bring joy, it only brings a kind of indifferent perspective - seeing through the absurdity behind the hustle and bustle, but still choosing to build your own altar on the plain. It turns out that the instinctive independence itself is the most thorough farewell to the mediocrity of the past.

ASO is dead! Apple has ruined it with ASA updates! There're too many vibecoded apps so can't rank organically! Android users don't pay so android apps suck! While everyone keeps speaking about that, my wife with help from Claude skills and my support kept building small simple apps, spending 3-4 hours a day. It took her only 1.5 months to get her MRR from 100$ to 1k$. It's 9 apps in total, revenue is split 50/50 between iOS and Android apps. No ads, no marketing, nothing. We decided she'll keep shipping apps until she gets to 2-3k$ so we have some budget and then we'll pick a couple of interesting apps and will be growing them with either ads or TT/IG. So, stop overthinking and asking yourself "is it the right time to start or am I late already". The best time to start was yesterday, but it's still good to start today.

My younger son is nearly 2 years old, and my wife’s maternity period is almost over. So instead of going back to her 9–5, I suggested she become a mobile app developer 😀 so she can work from home and spend more time with us. She’s very much into design but not a tech person, so I created a few Claude skills for mobile development to help her ship apps. 1 months ago we started the experiment and today she hit her first milestone 🚀🚀🚀

He also said: "Many people believe that men are easy to attain Bodhi, but few believe that women can benefit all beings." So the princess vowed that until the cycle of rebirth was complete, she would take the form of a woman to save all living beings. Later, the princess practiced diligently for countless years, eventually achieving enlightenment and fulfilling her great vow. Guyin the Buddha recorded her: "From now on until you attain the supreme Bodhi, you will be called the Mother of Salvation." It can be seen that all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas have no distinction between male and female, and there is no distinction between male and male. The choice is often in our own hands. In fact, to some extent, Buddhism not only does not "hate women," but its gender equality awareness is often beyond the era in which it is located, and it is still very advanced even today. During the Buddha's lifetime, his foster mother shaved her long hair, wore simple clothes, and sought the true Dharma. She asked the Buddha to allow her to become a monk and practice, but the Buddha repeatedly refused to let her join the monastic community. This is not discrimination, but protection. The social structure of ancient India was male-dominated, and women's ordination would not only provoke attacks from heretics, but also shake the economic foundation of the monastic community (which was mainly supported by women at that time). Eventually, the Buddha was moved by the earnestness of the nuns and accepted them into the monastic community, but he imposed stricter rules on them than on the monks. This is not to deliberately harass women, but to build a protection mechanism for women. In India at that time, women who practiced independently may face the dual threats of personal safety and social stigmatization. The world is facing a harsh secular environment, and the Buddha is doing his best to maintain the equality of the Dharma. Then there is Padmasambhava, who has been severely stigmatized by our Han people. It is said that before leaving Tibet, Padmasambhava said goodbye to his dakini, Yeshe Tsogyal, and told her that there was a white slave in Nepal who was destined to meet her, and buying him would help her practice, which would greatly benefit her practice. After listening to the words of the Bodhisattva, Yixi Tsega indeed found this white slave. From then on, the two of them practiced together and eventually both achieved success. Although Yeshe Tsogyal was a concubine given by the Tibetan king to Padmasambhava, Padmasambhava did not regard her as his private property. Instead, he practiced together with her and took her as his disciple. When he finally left, he also helped her practice. This kind of gender concept that transcends the era is truly amazing.

On the social media platform Red Note, which is dominated by female users, I have seen many people raise questions about the "misogyny" of Buddhism. Today, when I have time, I will sort out my thoughts and share my shallow views. In The Sutra of the Infinite Life, Bodhisattva Avalokitesvara (Amida Buddha) made 48 vows to "cultivate and acquire the pure and magnificent land of the Buddha" and one of them was: “If I become a Buddha, in the ten directions and countless unimaginable worlds of Buddhas, there will be women who hear my name, rejoice, believe, and have a bodhisattva mind. They will be disgusted with their female form, and when they die, they will be reborn as women. They will not attain the true enlightenment.” There is also a similar passage in the Sixth Part of the Praise of the Tathagata in the Sutra of the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion: “ If there is a woman who hates women, she will devote herself to the worship of the image of the Bodhisattva of the Earth, and... Waiting for offerings. She is a good woman, and in this life as a woman, she will not be reborn in a woman's world for a hundred million eons, let alone be reborn again. Except for the wish of compassion, one should take the form of a woman to save all beings. Due to the merit of offering to the Bodhisattva of Great Compassion and the power of merit, she will not take the form of a woman for a hundred million eons. ” Judging from these clips, Buddhism seems to regard "female body" as something that needs to be abandoned. But if you read these classics carefully, you will find that there is usually a premise for abandoning "female body," that is, "disgust," and the key is the word "disgust." Generally speaking, due to the constraints of social and historical conditions, women have long been under the narrative of being "vassals" of men, and their real situation is not good, which is an objective and undeniable fact. From the perspective of the situation at that time, it seems reasonable, even excusable, for women to "dislike" their own gender identity when they suffer physically and mentally in the world of Savara. Faithfully following the Buddha's teachings will enable them to free themselves from their female bodies, giving them hope and helping them to break free from their constraints. This is completely in line with what is said in the "Vimalakirti Sutra, Chapter 8, The Way of the Buddha": first, use desire to entice, and then lead them into the wisdom of the Buddha. This in no way indicates that Buddhism is "misogynistic." Moreover, although there is no supplement in the *Infinite Life Sutra*, it can be seen in the latter part of the sixth chapter, "Praise of the Tathagata," of the *Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva Sutra*: "If you do not dislike the female body, you will be a queen in a hundred million lives, and you will be a queen, a minister's daughter, a great noble's daughter, and you will be born in a straight and perfect body." As a woman, if you can not be troubled by external circumstances, you do not necessarily have to dislike being a woman and seek worldly blessings. There is no defect in being a woman, so there is no need to reject it. In the "Incarnation of the Supreme Divine Mother of Salvation" created by Chutrul Rinpoche, it is also said: At the time of the drum-sounding Buddha, the Supreme Mother appeared as Princess Yixi Dawa (the moon of wisdom). At that time, the princess offered devoutly to Guyin the Buddha and his retinue of bodhisattvas and countless other saints, and the monks praised her: “ You are so respectful and devout, and all your wishes will come true. Why don't you make a vow to change your gender from female to male to facilitate your practice? ” The princess said: “ There are no men or women here; there are no I, no one, and no consciousness. The names of men and women are meaningless, and the world is full of fools who make false distinctions. ” 。

Women fantasize that their other half is their soulmate, and that they should meet all their needs in every aspect. A literary young woman will be particularly disappointed when she meets a science and technology man: We are soulmates, and you don't know anything about the things I know best? In fact, soulmate is very abstract, what is soul? How can it be compatible? A little more questioning will reveal that it is a concept with a sense of loss. The correct state is that after falling in love, you can continue to hang out with whoever you like, continue to talk about novels with whoever you like, and if you like cosplay, you can play with friends who also like it. Not everything has to be done with your lover. Remember: Our loved ones can only fulfill part of our imagination of a good life; besides love, we have other intimate relationships.
