@liamzebedee Good questions. Maybe we need to define sentience, intelligence and knowledge creation. Until we can program creativity I don’t see that AI will be intelligent or capable of knowledge creation. Not sure about sentient though.

when you think of sentience, what IQ is that?

@z0r0zzz it's not even clear that we will be able to *recognise* when it develops its sentience like it's possible even that someone will accidentally trigger some aspect of the model which causes it to behave independently
