I’m at my dad’s house. He’s on hospice so not much time left. He’s been flying since 1940 and has a lot of pilot friends. This morning they’re buzzing the house for him. Probably illegal but I don’t give a damn. It’s making him smile.

I did concert production for about 20 years. One event I did was for your father in Pensacola FL at the Saenger Theater. What amazed me was after the show - he went backstage and thanked all the labor. It wasn't minor - he looked everyone in the eye, thanked them and meant what he said. Pure class.

Happy 75th Dad! Today I'm remembering your weirdness and your extraordinary capacity to love. And for the folks out there who'd like to celebrate with me, go do something kind for someone. Make someone laugh. Put a little more good into the world. Love you forever.

My current anxiety means booking front seats. Second Ryanair flight in 2 days. All I can think is of the fella that nearly got sucked out the window and me sat right by the door 😱. The seat I’m in was missing on way over 😂

@vikingskobo @London_W4 Yes, I used to have a meeting there a few times a month & always walked from Clapham Junction station & arrived about an hour early to enjoy seeing the helicopters! 🚁🚁🚁🚁 That's still operational but not the hotel 😔

@London_W4 Used to be a Crowne Plaza hotel near there next to the Heliport. Was 2018 when I last stayed out that way but it was cool to sit in the bar and watch choppers come in and out.

They’re still building. By the time they’ve finished, it’ll be time to knock the first load of apartments down and start again. The back side of Battersea Power Station today, with a glimpse of one of the iconic chimneys.
