@SincerelyValen I think he driven someone to suicide and tried to forget but he's such a failure that he tried to escape reality in escapism. The circus is literally what he thinks about the world: everything is a facade, still wanting meaning, but always distrusting others, like a suicidal.

reading a novel after reading someone like baldwin or lispector is extremely difficult. i’m not trying to be pretentious either but classics (modern included) raise the bar so high everything else feels lacklustre and most prose is just not cutting it

the key pieces to capture from the image are the line, circle edge, and then the yellow & red, ideally distributed with the red ‘leaking’ out, and then also with a green background. kandinsky does circles/partial circles, lines, oftentimes reds and yellows, and no bounds of symmetry. so yeah, looking at the image, it just feels ‘Kandinsky’ (some examples below of other work of his that could fit that same mold)

백룸에서 가장 중요한 지점은 그 공간을 드나들 수 있다는 거임 갇히지 않았는데 어떻게 탈출이 목표일 수 있겠음 백룸은 나갈 수 없어서 무서운 게 아니라 들어갈 서 있어서 무서운 공간임 이 포인트를 납득 못하면 영화가 별로일 수 밖에 없음
