Two papers at #CHI on how machine learning engineers can fit increasingly large models on devices and the role interactive systems play in making that happen. I’m excited about these papers since they open up new questions at the cutting edge of deploying ML models.

experienced researcher who thought they did everything #chi2024 reviewers asked but nonetheless had their paper rejected: "i have no idea what they're asking for" too late for this year, but strive to avoid reviews that will inspire such a reaction.
