We have entered the "so what?" part of the conversation about the AI(LLM) bubble - everyone, no expections, understand that there is a bubble - noone seems to have an answer to the "so what?" that follows.

@headinthebox I always felt that using computers to generate python(or some other extremely high-level code) seemed counter intuitive, and I guess you are arguing the same.

I am convinced we are doing AI coding wrong. Completely wrong in fact.
Humans need abstraction and code reuse to reduce costs and manage complexity.
That is not true for AIs however. They can just brute force things. No reuse and abstractions needed.
So instead of trying to coerce AIs to "structure" their code for our own benefit, we should just let them do the thing they do best, generate whatever code they want. As long as it works, we should be happy.
It is a bit like organizing your email in folders vs using search.

I believe most people would assume the Raptor1 was the best, most efficient, most powerful version of the raptor engines, if they were presented with the engines without context. Often Complexity sells better.

Elon and Steve Jobs are both famous for pushing people to simplify their designs. I don't think this is a coincidence. Large organizations naturally generate complexity, but if you have a CEO who hates it, this tendency is kept in check.

It returns "true" on any input, and its unclear where the output of the login is sent, it would probably be a better test if the default return "false"

I really like LLMs. They are not gonna replace programmers and it's actually super obvious to anybody who has done any deep serious software development over long period of time. But they scare away the kind of people who should've not been getting into it in the first place.
