Most people don’t realize the Maul vs. Ahsoka duel in The Clone Wars wasn’t just animated, it was full motion capture. The fight was performed by Ray Park (Darth Maul) and Lauren Mary Kim (Ahsoka) on a mocap stage, then translated into animation. That’s why the movement, footwork, and saber choreography feel so real. One of the coolest lightsaber duels in Star Wars, and it started with real stunt performers.
