Many of the unpaid interns were from urban communities and it was tough on them to work for free and yet they got nothing but the ability to put Roc Nation on their resume, many didn’t even get full time jobs at Roc Nation or the music industry after their internships because we all know nepotism and being connected matters more than anything in the music industry. The music industry as a whole takes advantage of people & people within the music industry use their talent, clout and the fact that everyone else wants to work in entertainment to not pay people their worth.
