@BennZorn Technically 3 is the logical option but I’m not opposed to 2 if you lowered the crossbar to make it a useful ligature else it lacks readability which is why ligatures exist

POV you are designing a fi-ligature for a monospaced typeface (why would you but ok). How do you deal with this philosophical task?

Throwing it back to this coloring page I created for a favorite local restaurant, Judies. Known for their popovers, Judies was a fixture in downtown Amherst, MA since its opening in 1977 but closed permanently during the pandemic. I was sad to see it go, I'll miss those popovers!
