@StumpytheCorgi @CXCarroll Impeachment, removing the power of the purse, lawsuits which they can't currently pursue because they are not the majority. They can legally temporarily stop every single action the president takes until it winds up at the Supreme Court. They will bog him down in quicksand...

I have a decent track record of predicting this conflict so far so here's where I see things going. (quoted tweet is from six months before we hit Fordow in 2025). Short 🧵
CXCarroll@CXCarroll

@VerminusM @visegrad24 Ukraine helped knock off Assad which in turn forced Russia out of Syria which in turn allowed Israel to turn Syria into a "sterile corridor" for Israel's non-stealth aircraft. Because of that, Israel now has the ability to strike Iran's nuclear facilities.

@StumpytheCorgi @CXCarroll He actually cares very much about the midterms..he blows a little of hot air so his comments can't be taken literally...if Dems take power they will crucify Trump and his cabinet members and Trump understands this well. 30 special elections went Dem some is ruby red Districts

🚨🇫🇷🇮🇷 IRAN'S PLAYING DIVIDE-AND-CONQUER WITH HORMUZ AND IT'S WORKING Iran's got a system: block U.S. ships, let European ones through... but only if those countries stand up to Trump. France crossed today no problem, Spain blocked airspace recently and got rewarded. It's brilliant... and infuriating. They're splitting NATO by making it profitable to oppose Washington. Every European ship that gets through proves you don't need America to keep trade flowing, you just need to not be America. Trump's entire pitch was "they need us for security." Iran just showed Europe they need Trump less than Trump needs them. He's gonna lose his mind and escalate hard, which is exactly what makes this strategy work. The madder he gets, the more Europe distances itself, the less likely he is to end this with a win. Brilliant. And infuriating. Source: CNN World

Can someone explain to me why we shouldn't be full port shorting futs now down .33% ? Even if you think trump taco's on his ultimatum to Iran it is very unlikely that happens before let's say noon est tmrw hard for me to imagine mkt is much higher from here without clarity on this --- honestly wondering if there's a blind spot here seems to simple.

@CaVivekkhatri In game theory you assume the actors are rational and make logical choices. Trump is an egotistical zealot while Netanyahu and the IRGC are religious zealots. These actors are irrational. All 3 will blow themselves up for an irrational purpose..game theory does not apply.

Forget the missiles. Forget the body count. To understand how this war ends → you need to understand one thing: Every player in this conflict is making RATIONAL choices. Not moral choices. Not emotional choices. Rational ones. Game theory is simply the science of rational decisions under pressure. That's the lens we're using today.

Every war in history ended the same way. Not when one side ran out of weapons. When one side ran out of MOVES. The US-Israel-Iran conflict has 3 possible endings. Game theory tells us exactly which one is most likely. And the answer will surprise you. 🧵

HOW TO MAKE FOOD LAST LONGER Onions – Store in a dark, cool place away from potatoes. Potatoes – Keep in a paper bag in a dark cupboard (no fridge). Berries – Wash in a diluted vinegar bath before drying and storing. Bananas – Wrap the stems in plastic wrap to slow ripening. Leafy Greens – Store in a container lined with paper towels. Bread – Freeze in slices; the fridge actually makes it go stale faster. Herbs – Place stems in a glass of water like a bouquet of flowers. Honey – It doesn’t go bad. Avocados – Store in the fridge once ripe to stop the softening. Carrots – Submerge in a jar of water and keep in the fridge. Flour – Store in the freezer to prevent weevils and maintain oils. Tomatoes – Keep on the counter; the fridge destroys their texture. Mushrooms – Store in a brown paper bag to absorb excess moisture. Milk – Store on the main shelf, not the door (it’s too warm there). Celery – Wrap tightly in aluminum foil to keep it crisp for weeks. Apples – Store away from other fruit; they release gas that over-ripens them. Lemons – Store in a sealed bag in the fridge to keep them juicy. Cucumber – Wrap in a paper towel to prevent them from getting slimy. Asparagus – Stand upright in an inch of water in the fridge. Coffee – Keep in an airtight container in a dark pantry (not the freezer). Cheese – Wrap in parchment paper rather than tight plastic wrap. Eggs – Keep in their original carton on a fridge shelf, not the door. Scallions – Re-grow them by placing the white roots in a glass of water. Ginger – Store in a freezer bag; it's easier to grate when frozen. Peanut Butter – Store natural jars upside down to distribute the oil. Butter – Can be frozen for up to 6 months to maintain freshness. Rice & Grains – Store in airtight glass jars to keep pests out. Garlic – Keep in a mesh bag in a cool, dark spot with air circulation. Nuts – Store in the fridge to prevent the natural oils from going rancid. Jam – Always use a clean spoon to prevent bacterial cross-contamination. Leftovers – Store in shallow glass containers for even cooling. Pineapple – Store upside down for a day to distribute sugars. Bell Peppers – Store in a mesh bag in the crisper drawer. Maple Syrup – Keep in the fridge once opened to prevent mold. Olive Oil – Keep in a dark glass bottle away from the stove’s heat. Dry Pasta – Seal in an airtight container to keep moisture out. Squash – Store in a cool, dry place; do not wash until you use it. Canned Goods – Once opened, transfer contents to a glass container. Grapes – Do not wash until right before you are ready to eat them. Bacon – Wrap leftovers in parchment and then foil before freezing. Tortillas – Store in the fridge to prevent mold growth on the edges. Yeast – Must be kept in the freezer or fridge to stay active. Sparkling Water – Store bottles on their side to maintain carbonation. Wine – Keep opened bottles corked and upright in the fridge. Broccoli – Wrap in a damp paper towel and keep in the fridge. Radishes – Remove the green tops before storing in the fridge. Tofu – Store in a container of fresh water, changed daily. Citrus – Roll them on the counter before juicing to get the most out. Opened Sauces – Wipe the rim of the jar before resealing to prevent mold. Dried Spices – Store away from the steam of the stove to prevent clumping.

“Why do some British people not like Donald Trump?” Nate White, an articulate and witty writer from England wrote the following response: A few things spring to mind. Trump lacks certain qualities which the British traditionally esteem. For instance, he has no class, no charm, no coolness, no credibility, no compassion, no wit, no warmth, no wisdom, no subtlety, no sensitivity, no self-awareness, no humility, no honour and no grace – all qualities, funnily enough, with which his predecessor Mr. Obama was generously blessed. So for us, the stark contrast does rather throw Trump’s limitations into embarrassingly sharp relief. Plus, we like a laugh. And while Trump may be laughable, he has never once said anything wry, witty or even faintly amusing – not once, ever. I don’t say that rhetorically, I mean it quite literally: not once, not ever. And that fact is particularly disturbing to the British sensibility – for us, to lack humour is almost inhuman. But with Trump, it’s a fact. He doesn’t even seem to understand what a joke is – his idea of a joke is a crass comment, an illiterate insult, a casual act of cruelty. Trump is a troll. And like all trolls, he is never funny and he never laughs; he only crows or jeers. And scarily, he doesn’t just talk in crude, witless insults – he actually thinks in them. His mind is a simple bot-like algorithm of petty prejudices and knee-jerk nastiness. There is never any under-layer of irony, complexity, nuance or depth. It’s all surface. Some Americans might see this as refreshingly upfront. Well, we don’t. We see it as having no inner world, no soul. And in Britain we traditionally side with David, not Goliath. All our heroes are plucky underdogs: Robin Hood, Dick Whittington, Oliver Twist. Trump is neither plucky, nor an underdog. He is the exact opposite of that. He’s not even a spoiled rich-boy, or a greedy fat-cat. He’s more a fat white slug. A Jabba the Hutt of privilege. And worse, he is that most unforgivable of all things to the British: a bully. That is, except when he is among bullies; then he suddenly transforms into a snivelling sidekick instead. There are unspoken rules to this stuff – the Queensberry rules of basic decency – and he breaks them all. He punches downwards – which a gentleman should, would, could never do – and every blow he aims is below the belt. He particularly likes to kick the vulnerable or voiceless – and he kicks them when they are down. So the fact that a significant minority – perhaps a third – of Americans look at what he does, listen to what he says, and then think ‘Yeah, he seems like my kind of guy’ is a matter of some confusion and no little distress to British people, given that: • Americans are supposed to be nicer than us, and mostly are. • You don’t need a particularly keen eye for detail to spot a few flaws in the man. This last point is what especially confuses and dismays British people, and many other people too; his faults seem pretty bloody hard to miss. After all, it’s impossible to read a single tweet, or hear him speak a sentence or two, without staring deep into the abyss. He turns being artless into an art form; he is a Picasso of pettiness; a Shakespeare of shit. His faults are fractal: even his flaws have flaws, and so on ad infinitum. God knows there have always been stupid people in the world, and plenty of nasty people too. But rarely has stupidity been so nasty, or nastiness so stupid. He makes Nixon look trustworthy and George W look smart. In fact, if Frankenstein decided to make a monster assembled entirely from human flaws – he would make a Trump. And a remorseful Doctor Frankenstein would clutch out big clumpfuls of hair and scream in anguish: ‘My God… what… have… I… created?' If being a twat was a TV show, Trump would be the boxed set.

Chase, Amex, and US Bank will fund your next rental property this month 0% interest for 15 months. No lender fees. No appraisal. No 6-month underwriting process. Money in your account within a week while you're waiting 4 months for a hard money loan at 12% interest plus 2 points, your competitor just closed on 2 properties using 0% business credit and kept the spread real estate investors sleep on business credit because they think in terms of mortgages and conventional loans. "You can't buy a house with a credit card" you're right. But you CAN fund everything around the house with one down payment gap: you need $50K down on a $250K rental. You have $35K cash. Instead of waiting 6 months to save or taking a 12% hard money bridge loan, you put $15K on a 0% business card. Gap funded. Deal closed. Property cash-flowing while other investors are still saving renovations: that $30K kitchen and bathroom flip? Hard money lender wants 12% plus 2 points. $30K on 0% business cards costs you nothing for 15 months. Finish the rehab in 3 months, refinance out, pay the cards off. You just saved $3,600+ in interest on a single project furnishing: Airbnb arbitrage operators spend $8K-$15K furnishing each unit. That's $8K-$15K that earns zero return sitting in your checking account. Put it on 0% cards. Deploy your cash into the next unit instead. 4 units furnished on bank money means your capital went 4x further the system for stacking $150K-$250K in real estate credit: step 1: set up your LLC and EIN if you haven't (20 minutes, costs $100 depending on your state). Open business checking at the bank you plan to apply to first. Having an existing relationship helps approvals step 2: optimize credit for 30-45 days. Pay cards down before statement close dates. Dispute errors. Get utilization under 10% on every card across every bureau step 3: apply during quarterly quota windows (2 weeks before march 31, june 30, sept 30, dec 31). Banks are desperate to hit numbers. Same application that gets denied in july gets approved for double the limit in late september step 4: bureau sequence matters. Transunion pullers first (Capital One, Discover). Equifax pullers next (Synchrony, PNC). Experian pullers last (Chase, Amex, Wells Fargo, US Bank). Each bank only sees inquiries on their bureau. No stacking flags step 5: cards arrive. Liquidate through payment processor at 2-3% if you need cash for a down payment. Or use directly for renovations, furniture, materials, contractor deposits. Deploy the capital into properties immediately step 6: month 10, apply for new 0% cards at different banks. Pay off old cards with new ones or with refi proceeds. Fresh 0% window. The cycle runs indefinitely every property you DON'T buy because you're waiting to save the capital is a property your competitor closes with bank money. They're not richer. They just have access you haven't built yet if you're a real estate investor or Airbnb operator and you want up to $250K in 0% funding to scale your portfolio, we build the whole system. Link in bio
