@HeidiBriones People make the mistake of thinking that chicken needs to be cooked well done. If you sous vide or poach it, you can cook it at a lower temperature for a sustained amount of time to kill any potential salmonella and keep it tender.

I wish chicken breast tasted better. I have no idea how you're all cooking it without it getting dry or chewy. Tips? I tend to skip it and cook thighs instead, but I need to up my protein.

So - I haven’t lived in Alberta in 12 years and I’m definitely not a Conservative. But there are some flaws in your logic. First and foremost is that based on income, housing is still relatively affordable in Alberta with the exception of hot markets, and that is a market symptom, not a policy issue. Second, healthcare is in a state of distress nationwide. Thirdly, Alberta had some of the best education outcomes despite the perceived funding shortfall. The latter two are perfect examples that surplus funding ≠ perfect outcomes. Obviously lots of room for improvement, but the argument is a red herring for larger, systemic issues that are noticeable nationwide.

Alberta has been governed by conservatives for nearly 60 years. If healthcare is strained, schools underfunded, housing unaffordable, and the economy unstable, blaming the NDP after one 4-year term isn’t analysis — it’s political amnesia
