@ExnerPirot Shipping from Canadas west coast to Germany, yet we were told theres no business case on the east coast
English

👀The security premium is real.
Canada will announce a deal tomorrow to supply Germany with LNG shipped from the Ksi Lisims project in northwest BC.
The buyer is Germany’s SEFE, the former Gazprom PJSC unit nationalized by the German government after the invasion of Ukraine.

Canada is set to announce a deal to supply Germany with liquefied natural gas from a planned export facility on the coast of British Columbia bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@noahadler1999 @CofRedCentral Theyll want a top pairing guy for number 2 and we definitely dont have that
English

@BreakfastBacon1 Im less upset about the prices than i am in your choice in drinks
English

@ExnerPirot Guilbeault stayed true to his values, too bad theyre so misplaced and to rigid to adjust to the bigger picture
English

Gotta give Joly a point for this one: “But we’re also dealing with an energy crisis right now, which is affecting the price of gas across the country... Things are happening thousands of kilometres from where we are. So, in these circumstances we need to be able to protect our energy sovereignty and be able to support our allies.”

@MattInfante 8 early slate games is too much. You end up watching maybe a quarter of it.
More days, more time slots, better i can follow the league.
But to each their own.
English

@ericwolf3784 We can agree to disagree then. Because the sanctity of a football Sunday is slowly eroding. We're going to be at a point where there are only like 5 early games and 3 late games on Sundays soon. That will be a sad time. lol
English

The NFL is absolutely slowly ruining what made Sundays in the fall so special. Don't let the ratings fool you. Just because we will all still watch doesn't mean there's no problem brewing.
ProFootballTalk@ProFootballTalk
Jason Kelce is concerned that the NFL is getting away from Sunday as the day for football. The reality is that, given current viewing habits, any day is Sunday. nbcsports.com/nfl/profootbal…

@PolymarketMoney Cant wait to buy for a 30% discount 6 months after IPO
English

@RosieRocks28 Except the petition literally was them voting for a referendum....
English

@wyatt_claypool @AnonBC_Con No ones been publicly bullied more than Elliott.
Some of it shes definitely deserved, but the right flank in BC treats her like a leper.
English

Behind-the-scenes and sometimes public bullying of people who simply made a different choice has been absolutely disgusting.
It’s a solid example of why the consulting class of politics needs to be eliminated.
These people pretend to be principled, but when everything fundamentally is about who’s going to hire them at the end of the day, it makes these people toxic to deal with.
English

@SonicSpeeds17 @ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey Panarin never played with an elite forward after his first 2 seasons. He was regularly outscoring his entire team by 20-30 points.
Put him next to Matthews and he would clean house.
But yah will be a fun player to watch mature
English

@ericwolf3784 @ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey I mean like I think mckenna could hit 100 points more often then panarin did like he was usually a 85-95 point guy aside from the 120 year I think mckenna could be a consistent 100 point scorer I think panarin is a good comp tho
English

@SonicSpeeds17 @ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey Panarin comparison feels like really accurate.
But thats the absolute ceiling of course, long hill to climb and good chance he doesnt reach that.
English

@MadelnCanada None. TBJ is Canadas team.
Vancouver cant even keep an MLS team or afford a stadium. Cant imagine Montreal is much different
English

@SonicSpeeds17 @ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey Think youre underrating Panarin but sure.
Just have to see if he hits that ceiling. Fine line between reaching that or being a Necas or Barzal, not that there anything wrong with those guys.
English

@ericwolf3784 @ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey I think he could have a bit better offensive production then panarin just like a tiny bit tho
English

@RampCapitalLLC From what ive read tomatillos only pollinate from other tomatillos, so you might be SOL with only 1.
Worth buying another though. You can easily get well over 100 fruit from a single plant. Shit makes you feel like Martha Stuart
English

@ericwolf3784 Can’t grow cannabis unfortunately but I do have one tomatillo I started from seed

2026 Ramp Garden Thread:
Running it back again.
Every year I become slightly more convinced growing your own food is one of the most rewarding hobbies you can have.
It blends science and creativity, slows your brain down and forces patience, connects you with nature and gives you visible proof of effort (seed to table).
Once again, I’ll be tracking the entire gardening season on this thread from seed starting, raised beds, harvests, mistakes, upgrades, and all the random things I learn along the way.
Bookmark and follow along if you’re into gardening or thinking about starting your own.

@Jack_Lauer_ @CRUDEOIL231 Think no deal is more likely than more war.
He knows the economy cant take more of this and theres nothing he cares about more than the economy.
English

@CRUDEOIL231 All Iran has to do is two things:
1 make themselves as expensive to kill as possible
2 burn as much time as possible
They are doing both.
I think it's more likely than not that Trump resumes the kinetic conflict.
English

Right, the clock is ticking for the Chinese teapots and Iran, but Trump is the one on a real deadline. Once Iran realizes time is on their side, the playbook is simple: just stall.
That's the whole game. They know that down the road, Trump will be on his knees like a dog, ready to give them whatever the hell they want.
The strategy right now is relying on time to compel Trump to accept the very things he currently refuses to entertain.
Every single tick of the clock works to their advantage. They will push Trump to the brink, running him out of time until he completely folds to Iran's ridiculous conditions.
Trump is frantically chasing a negotiation, but Iran is playing hard to get and running out the clock. Why rush when waiting guarantees them a massive jackpot later?
We all remember Trump’s absolute trashing of Obama over the JCPOA, don’t we? Man, watching him eat his own words down the road is going to be pure comedy.
We’ve reached a crossroads. Either strip down and do a striptease for your master or summon the courage to fight back. It's time to decide.
I can understand where the patriots are coming from, but the US is losing this war. That is an undeniable fact.

English

@ColtonBaxter17 @HotTakeHockey Offensively yes overall game no I think he can be a top 5 offensive player but his defense isn’t the best so that will be the one thing that hurts him
English

@DMuralt @TristinHopper So my hometown of Blind Bay just becomes Blind.....

@TristinHopper How about “Bay” and “Falls?” We could work that all the way up to 0.002 percent.
