@EDUwithEmily I did the graduate degrees and certifications to advance my paycheck. Unfortunately they don’t carry much clout w admin & central office

Me: Has a bachelors degree, masters degree, a level 2 teaching cert, a level 2 library cert, 30 credits beyond a masters, a completed state induction, 4+ years of experience, and too many Act 48 hours to count. Principal: But what are you doing to advance your career?

@amollica If they’re anything like the 16 yos I teach, you’d have to pry their cell phones out of their hands & earbuds out of their ears to notify them…& that’s assuming they’d listen & pay attention

@amollica I believe these reasons for teachers’ leaving - “increased stress, concerns about school culture, and a desire for more pay” - would be true of most states; not just NH. For me personally, the first two would be at the top of my list

@forcedesign @MediacomSupport I'm in the same area. The estimated time per the app is Sept 6 @ 6 pm central time. Since they can't be bothered to tell you, and it is nearly impossible to access that info without Internet and with cell service being iffy
