@peterawolf The deli was about making cheap cuts delicious. $30 pastrami happened because Texas BBQ got popular, which made the demand for brisket rise. Brisket was $1.50/lb 15 years ago, now it’s $5-7. There aren’t any cheap cuts anymore.

This is how I feel about all deli food. This stuff was supposed to be cheap calories, not $30 pastrami or Iberico ham

@forddodd @FrankCalabrese It still doesn't match. That Bud Light design goes all the way around the top of the can, but that's not what is shown on the can in the photo. It's not the same.

@Mike_Adams_OG @FrankCalabrese You can see the Bud Light specific light blue filigree just under the mouth of the can in the picture. AB/InBev is rather litigious; nobody else will use those shades of blue for a filigree in that placement. Nothing wrong with having a beer while walking at a parade though.

summer is the season for eating clearly defined shapes. hamburger. hot dog. pizza. winter is primarily for foods you couldnt hang on the wall. stews and casseroles. autumn is a transitional period because you have big turkey leg but also stuffing
