@RikRoots @stevenpemberton Cause it’s not only the U.S. In Germany there’s a similar recommendation (DGUV 215-450; not really a law, but in context of the “Arbeitsschutzgesetz”) for a specific font size of 20 till 22 arc minutes for text. Nobody really cares😩, but it’s really useful. Any details about US?

CSS co-designer here. !important was added for one reason only: laws in the US that require certain text to be in a given font-size. !important stops the cascade from changing it. Anything else is probably misuse, and a sign you may not understand the cascade properly.

This UserWay junk does not make your site accessible! Why do so many sites junk their pages up with this button floating over entire site? It's not making your site conform to WCAG's #a11y success criteria, won't save you from a lawsuit, slowing down site, 3rd party risk added.

@koderapp #bug The app crashes every time u copy and paste a snippet into an empty (new) snippet. You’ve to add a dummy snippet first and then edit it.

@smashingmag This is not about manual switching! In a light environment your eyes are thankful for a light interface and vice versa. Mixing positive and negative polarity is pain in your … eyes! Please do not force people to use the one or the other only cause it’s “cooler” or you like it.

In general, do you prefer a light mode or dark mode when browsing, reading articles, checking emails etc.?
