@thegoldenmuzzy Do you mean Mitch Marner? or Hyman or Roy??
English

@tavkniesnythews McKenna is a Ferrari, you don’t pair him with an old potato truck, zero chance they don’t trade Matthews now
English

@bigheadhcky If that’s the roster, I’m very excited if I’m a Boston or Philly fan
English

@Banx_Leaf No one can pitch winning like Matt Sundin, he will be able to tell McDavid about the time he made it past round two once in his 19 yr career
English

Absolutely the plan, draft a top 5 pick, sit him next year, he wins the Calder in year 2 and we’re a decent playoff team with a bright future and McDavid joins his buddy Matthews in Toronto pitched by Sundin
TJ@blueandwhite93
The obvious internal plan for Sundin and Chayka is to make the team as desirable as possible for McDavid in 2 years. You’d be a fool not to. Accumulate assets many assets and young pieces as you can while staying competitive. If we strike out on him then start the rebuild.
English

@RobWong34 Even with cap going up zero chance Oilers could afford Matthews in bottom 6
English

@JaredBrownn97 Happens every year, last season 3 Pacific teams over 104 pts …
English

Listen, the NHL’s playoff format is awful. Teams like Montreal, Tampa Bay, Minnesota, and Dallas all had amazing regular seasons, and two not advancing past the first round feels wrong.
However, the NHL has made the first round of the playoffs 10x more entertaining with these 2v3 division series. #NHLPlayoffs

@WatchMyReview Just happy Oilers didn’t go 7 or 8 yrs, then it gets more difficult
English

@WatchMyReview Oilers could trade him if they want to , obviously not same player but 12.5 m for him certainly not a waste for Oilers, hopefully he finds form soon
English

@theblockspot Divisions flip every year, last season Pacific only division with three 100 pt teams
English

@theblockspot Oilers been to finals back to back and mopped the floor with Dallas twice in a row
English

@TopTierPucks If he was top 5 you wouldn’t have to say it, everyone knows he’s not there, decent player and great year, redeemed himself well after Olympic performance
English

@ProducerDrew_ same as last year before playoffs?? No Edmonton?
English

@SullyCNBC I flew to Atlanta couple weeks ago, completely full both ways. Flying to Houston tomorrow, full flight again, lots of people travelling to USA, out of Calgary
English

@puckempire Oilers have played very uninspired hockey all regular season, really looks like many games especially early they could care less. Montreal has been fantastic all season engage in every game like life or death, Edmonton has 30 regulation wins Montreal 31, just saying
English

Just looked at the standings.
This is nuts 😭. Teams battling for Eastern Conference Wild Card #2 are ahead of THE PACIFIC DIVISION LEADER.
The East is crazy right now.

English

@KevlarMcNulty @brendanshowbiz Only Edmonton drives tv more than Toronto, Edmonton got more USA national televised games than all Canadian team combined, Montreal doesn’t move the needle at this time
English

@brendanshowbiz If you don't yet understand the impact The Leafs have on broadcasting just consider the fact that they had Los Angeles Kings play a home game on a Saturday at 4pm so it would be primetime game in Leafland.
English

@HapenisTwoTrunk @brendanshowbiz I get it its frustrating especially considering how well Montreal is playing but media will always sway towards which teams move the needle, Montreal is great but it ain’t Edmonton or Toronto, Edmonton had 18 nationally televised games televised games in USA, Montreal zero
English

@fortmacjohnny69 @brendanshowbiz What kind of fucking idiot uses those metrics to measure "care"? I'm guessing you haven't noticed how when the Habs play on the road, there is often a ridiculously large amount of Habs jerseys in the crowd.
