First maple syrup of 2025 this morning

@5Leroux @FredMarcoux We had a very good year. 2.25 l/ tap. Done for 2 weeks started early February. still many drums to sell maybe should wait and see prices?

@fortrosecolin @FredMarcoux The week to come looks like it will be the end for us ... it may be an average to low production in the lower St-laurent river Valley It's the beginning for some regions yet in Québec I will post our final results once done

And just like that - our maple trees and the recent +10C temperatures have caused a switch from Golden to Amber grade maple coming out of the evaporator. Here, our granddaughter Acelyn is checking the clarity of some recently bottled fresh Amber grade maple - still warm.
