Therefore Biafrans, all coordinators, this is an instruction from the leadership; as we are getting ready for the candle night, their must be screening to filter the agent provocateurs planning to cause havoc. And I must say this: in every struggle, there must be tactical changes because we are not getting younger. This attitude of threatening people, especially me must stop with forthwith. This threat is not even limited to the principal officers, it is also extended to people we sent to Sokoto prison. During this time, this will be the last time we will hear such threat. Those making these threats should know that not everyone can ignore such especially not someone like me, a born Ngwa warrior. We will no longer take such threat from people that killed Biafra land coordinator, people that stole IPOB money and do not want accountability. After the autopilots killed Mazi Ikechukwu Ugwuoha, an order came that we should stop attributing his death to autopilots but to Nigerian government instead and the DOS said NO! because we know the killers. So many of them are still on the run and some have gone to Sokoto Mazi Chinasa Nworu, Live Radio Biafra Update By FWPI 23-05-2026 @radiobiafralive @real_IpobDOS

General Dagvin Anderson highlighted worsening security in Africa due to growing terrorist networks and bad actors. Africa's strategic significance was emphasized, both as a global commerce hub and a key supplier of critical minerals. There is evidence of growing cooperation between groups like the Houthis and al-Shabaab, and several foreign terrorist organizations remain active on the continent. General Anderson advised that Africom should strengthen partnerships with regional allies and leverage unique US military capabilities, despite limited resources and geographic reach. @real_IpobDOS

Godwin Kelechi wrote - ‘Ojukwu Misrepresented Aburi to His People’" - Yakubu Gowon. Where is your copy sir? Gowon argued that Ojukwu’s interpretation of the Aburi resolutions reflected a personal political agenda rather than the collective position reached at the meeting. According to him, the records of the meeting did not support Ojukwu’s claims. “What Ojukwu said, therefore, merely conformed to his own personal agenda, not the agreed position at Aburi and not what the generality of Nigerians wanted,” Gowon stated. “More worrisome, however, was that he consciously preached a divisive philosophy, knowing fully well that the meeting at Aburi was all about our collective resolve to commit to an indivisible Nigeria. Worse, he sold the illusion of ‘independence’ to traumatised people who were already tired of blo*odshed and needed some form of healing and closure,” Gowon added. But Gowon’s position remains difficult to defend for one major reason: throughout the civil w*ar and even up till this moment, he has never publicly produced a full transcript of what transpired at Aburi. On his return from Aburi, Ojukwu released the complete transcript of the meeting, and the slogan “On Aburi We Stand” quickly became the rallying cry across the Eastern Region. If Gowon was truly convinced that Ojukwu distorted the agreement, why did the Federal Government never publicly release its own official transcript to counter those claims? The reality is that after returning from Aburi, Gowon consulted his top advisers, many of whom feared that implementing the accord would drastically weaken the powers of the central government. The Aburi Accord proposed a highly decentralised system, which would have given the regions far greater control over their affairs, resources, and security. For the traumatised people of the Eastern Region, this arrangement was seen as a safeguard against a repeat of the mas**sacres and political persecution they had experienced in different parts of the country. Ojukwu did not merely “sell the illusion of independence” to his people. Rather, it was the failure to fully implement the Aburi Accord, alongside the continued k**ngs and insecurity faced by Easterners across Nigeria, that pushed many toward the idea of secession. To people in the East, Biafra was not about ambition or conquest. It was a desperate cry for survival. #postviral#facts #nigeria #politics #history #IgboAmaka #civilwar @real_IpobDOS @radiobiafralive

Nigeria didn’t just betray Aburi Accord and Biafra, it betrayed Africa and the conscience of the world. That is why, decades later, its wounds still fester and its problems refuse to die.

Revisiting Aburi: Ojukwu’s Uncompromising Stand for Peace Against Gowon’s Duplicity iconsnews.com/2026/05/revisi… While Gen. Yakubu Gowon continues to claim in his recent autobiography that Ojukwu frustrated peace efforts, the official Aburi Accord minutes tell the truth: Ojukwu passionately pushed for non-violence, renounced the use of force, and warned that Gowon was secretly buying arms from Italy even as they discussed peace. Ojukwu stood by the agreement. Gowon backtracked, betrayed the spirit of Aburi, and chose war. Decades later, the question remains: Has union by force made Nigeria better? A powerful historical correction everyone must read."

Before his death in 2011, Mr Ojukwu accused Mr Gowon of betraying the agreement allegedly reached at the Aburi meeting, including an understanding that Nigeria would be restructured in a way that allowed the then four regions greater autonomy. However, in his autobiography, “My Life of Duty and Allegiance”, launched in Abuja on Tuesday, Mr Gowon maintained that there was no agreement at Aburi to allow the Eastern Region to secede and establish Biafra. Although Mr Ojukwu is no longer alive to respond to the claims in Mr Gowon’s book, an old NTA interview in which he spoke extensively about the Aburi meeting recently resurfaced on social media. What Ojukwu said The exact date of the interview could not be independently verified. In the interview, Mr Ojukwu insisted that records and transcripts of the Aburi meeting showed that both sides reached the partitioning agreements, contrary to Mr Gowon’s recent account. “The tapes are available, the records are there. In fact, about two weeks ago, I saw a set of the records again. The transcripts are available but we were talking about the Nigerian situation and certainly at the end, everybody said, ‘You told them this, you did that,’” he said. He argued that the disagreements that followed Aburi were influenced more by external pressures than by differences between himself and Mr Gowon. “The fact was our case was so clear that I actually believe that at the end of Aburi that the problem was not Gowon but the problem was the ambassadors in Lagos who were pressing for something else because we understood each other, we agreed on every single point,” he said. Mr Ojukwu also recalled that the minutes of the meeting were drafted jointly by his chief secretary and officials from Mr Gowon’s side, after which both delegations reportedly agreed on the final document. “The drafting was in fact with my chief secretary with two other chief secretaries from the other side. I said No and drafted, we looked at it and we agreed. General Ankrah read over thr whole report to us again, asked us if we wanted to amend anything. We said No.” The former Eastern Region leader also claimed that the atmosphere after the meeting was cordial and optimistic. premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/…

WEEKEND MUSINGS HOW NIGERIA FAILED MR. MICHAEL OYEDOKUN:A NATION THAT ABANDONS ITS TEACHERS HAS BEGUN TO DIG ITS OWN GRAVE THE BEHEADING OF AN EDUCATOR IN OYO STATE — A NATIONAL TRAGEDY AND A DAMNING INDICTMENT ON GOVERNMENTAL FAILURE There are moments in the life of a nation when silence becomes complicity, when indifference assumes the colouration of wickedness, and when the blood of the innocent cries louder than the speeches of politicians. The gruesome murder of Mr. Michael Oyedokun , a school teacher at Community high school, Esiele , Oriile LGA , Oyo State , is one of such dark and unforgettable moments in the tragic history of our country. Her name is Chiadikaobi- the youngest princess of the Ejiofor Dynasty and my youngest child. During our routine family conversations, moments in which we discuss academics, school activities, relationships with teachers and the broader values of life, Chiadikaobi — who is remarkably outspoken and once proudly informed us that she is “intelligently unique in her own way” passionately narrated to us the exceptional relationship she enjoys with her teachers. She spoke glowingly about their devotion to duty, the ease with which they impart knowledge, their patience, discipline, and the noble manner in which they mould character and inspire excellence in young minds. At the conclusion of such conversations, our little princess would usually present a long catalogue of her future aspirations and priorities, the persons she intends to care for and reward when she eventually grows into adulthood. Unsurprisingly, at the very summit of that list are her parents, followed by her siblings, and astonishingly, her teachers. Chiadikaobi holds her teachers in profound reverence. To her innocent mind, they are architects of greatness and custodians of destiny. She constantly speaks of her desire to one day reward them generously for their sacrifices and selfless service to humanity. What we have deliberately shielded her from, however, is the painful and brutal reality that these same teachers whom she so deeply reveres are among the most neglected, humiliated, impoverished and dehumanised citizens within the hierarchy of governmental priorities in Nigeria. Successive administrations, both at the Federal and State levels, have consistently abandoned the teaching profession to misery, indignity and institutional neglect. Mr. Michael Oyedokun, a devoted Maths teacher at Community high school, Esiele , Oriile LGA , Oyo State, , was abducted by bloodthirsty jihadist terrorists and subsequently beheaded in cold blood. Mr. Oyedokun was not abducted from a battlefield. He was not kidnapped while engaging in criminality. He was not seized in a political arena. His only “crime” was the noble and honourable decision to be present in school, at the appropriate time, carrying out his statutory obligation of teaching, mentoring and shaping the lives of innocent children entrusted to his care. That singular act of service to humanity cost him his life. Even more horrifying is the fact that several innocent students were equally abducted and, as at this moment, continue to endure unimaginable torment, psychological trauma and dehumanising captivity, all to pressure the Government into the payment of ransom and concessions to terrorists who now operate with frightening audacity across our land. What greater tragedy can befall a nation than when its schools become slaughter grounds, its classrooms become theatres of terror, and its educators become bargaining chips in the hands of murderous extremists? Teachers are not merely salary earners. They are nation builders, custodians of civilisation, moulders of conscience, and silent architects of every profession known to mankind. Every Judge, Lawyer, Doctor, Professor, Engineer, Governor and President once sat before a teacher. Yet, paradoxically, those upon whose shoulders society rests are treated with shocking contempt, miserable remuneration and institutional abandonment. The murder of Mr. Oyedokun is therefore not merely the death of a teacher; it is the public execution of national conscience. It is a terrifying symbol of how far insecurity, governmental inertia and institutional decay have devastated the moral foundations of our nation. Even more disturbing is the frightening possibility that, in the years ahead, some of these same terrorists may eventually be absorbed back into society under certain rehabilitation and reintegration programmes, while the memory of the innocent educator they butchered fades into governmental archives and forgotten headlines. What a cruel irony. The blood of Mr. Oyedokun cries out for justice. I profoundly sympathise with the entire community of teachers across Nigeria, the immediate family of Mr. Michael Oyedokun, the students traumatised by this horrifying incident, and every innocent soul affected by this barbaric act of terror. I call upon the Federal Government of Nigeria, the Oyo State Government, all security agencies, and every institution saddled with the preservation of law and order, to take every lawful and necessary step to ensure that the perpetrators of this heinous atrocity are apprehended and prosecuted without delay. Every individual connected to this evil conspiracy, no matter how highly placed, politically protected or institutionally shielded, must equally be identified and brought to justice. A nation that fails to honour and protect its teachers is merely preparing the funeral of its own civilisation. May the soul of Mr. Michael Oyedokun find eternal rest before his Creator, and may his noble service to humanity never go unrewarded, even in Heaven. #JusticeForMichaelOyedokun #ProtectNigerianteachers #StopTheKillings #NigeriaInMourning #SecureOurSchools #TeachersAreNationBuilders #EndTerrorismInNigeria #JusticeForAbductedStudents #SaveNigeria #HumanityUnderAttack #BarEjioforWrites Signed: Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, Esq.KSC Dunu-Ezeugosinachi May 23, 2026.
