So it's been over 2 years. Some characters gain the ability to parry in certain stances while in Heat whereas they normally cannot without it. None of these aside from Lidia's HAE stance can be thrown guaranteed, despite multiple other parries being vulnerable to them.

@lumen_reber Hmm what about time based? Or even continuing to stack heat across rounds? I would also be okay with adding more defensive techniques to be connected to heat i.e. burst in Guilty Gear, personally.

@Foxhoundfl the issue with this is if it’s earned then the player who is already winning is just going to put themselves in a position to win more + having heat burst available when you’re getting your ass beat and want to kinda reset neutral is also a thing too

Hey forgive me for bringing nuance onto twitter, but there's a fundamental difference between GGST devs removing a mechanic that was added later into the games life and was received poorly and asking for mechanics that a game was designed around from the ground up to be taken out

@SUUN_SHIINEEE Shows what I know! I thought every sen stance transition was option selectable by Yoshi's flash, so when I saw the patch and flash obviously didn't work here, I assumed it was a hit frame change. Hooray learning!

@Foxhoundfl This isn’t a season 3 change, the change was that you’re able to block quicker after going into Sentai without picking an offensive option. It’s always been +11 on hit. Good video for defensive options tho
