@fineline80 @ESPNcricinfo I agree I think his captaincy has been poor. But he’s been stitched up by his team mates as far as batting goes and has been a real problem for Australia when bowling.

All of this praise for Ben Stokes is so clearly driven by his PR team. Averaging 18.4 with the bat and sitting on 15 wickets, being the same amount as Tongue who has played 2 less innings. The comments praising his hard work ethic and bravery are flawed, just like his tactics.
