I know the last decade under the Trudeau-NDP was difficult and Albertans have every right to be frustrated. But thanks to the leadership of Albertans, the tide is finally turning in our favour. The vast majority of Trudeau’s ‘9 bad laws’ have been scrapped or reformed. Investment has begun flowing back into energy, tech, and agriculture, and we are creating more jobs than the rest of the country combined. Now is not the time to give up hope. Now is the time to double down and help Canada reach its incredible potential. With Alberta leading the way, we can turn Canada into one of the most strong and prosperous economies in the world. On October 19, I will be voting for Alberta to remain in Canada. I hope you will join me in doing so.

@LiveFreeHoney Actually, no. I'm married to a retired vet from the CAF, 331/2 years. He was released on medical after a back and leg injury. He has severe PTSD from Bosnia. He received both counselling and compensation. We watch him closely, but he wasn't left to die by the Government.

When Canada decided it was more cost effective to kill suffering vets than treat them was my last straw. Canada would empty the coffers for newcomers rather than those who sacrificed everything. Canada is beyond broken! F*** your elbows Long live The New Alberta Republic #Vets4Independence

@gilmcgowan I don’t see it as being for Alberta. I see it as being for Canada at a time where we are experiencing an unprovoked trade war with our largest trading partner, and we need alternative reliable markets fast. This helps with the Trump problem.

@BlakeRichardsMP Veterans and Canadian taxpayers deserve better than you bad actors conning people into believing no one but you showed up for a meeting that isn't even scheduled. There should be consequences for this type of disinformation. It's Government, not grade school. Grow up!

Today Conservatives showed up to work for veterans at the Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs, but the Liberals canceled the meeting. Last week as soon as the Liberals had their majority they shut down committees, including improperly adjourning the Veterans Affairs Committee. This week, they are shutting down ACVA by not meeting today and later this week ensuring the meeting is closed to the public without cameras to hide what they plan to do with their new majority. If the past week is any indication, what they plan to do won’t be in the interest of veterans.

I am the only candidate on that stage with real, hands-on experience in Aboriginal land issues. I was part of the legal team that took the Musqueam case all the way to the Supreme Court of Canada.
