If I can give any new(er) traders a piece of advice - Save your mental capacity and don't compare your day 1 to someone else's day 1000 It's VERY easy to get caught up in comparisons and wondering why xyz hasn't worked out for you but it has for others You don't know the full extent of someone's struggles & failures that lead to their success Comparison is the thief of joy and if you allow it, it can be soul crushing Stay in your lane, put your head down and work until one day, your success will look like it happened over night & you can apply this advice to any aspect of life, not just trading.

I was the best man at the wedding for a guy who did exactly this. They have 3 kids now. How they met is actually a lot funnier though. He was being racist online and she DM'd him and they started talking and found out they only lived about 5 miles from each other. Three years ago I bought a brewery in Italy that was failing. I thought I had accumulated enough experience running businesses and could turn it around. Boy was I wrong :) The brewery had an old brewing system that just couldn’t produce consistent, quality beers — so I had to buy a new one (~€400k). The new brewing system couldn’t fit the warehouse we were in, so we had to find a new space and move production (~€200k). And moving production cost us an entire year of lost customers and revenue, while still paying salaries (~€200k). It’s been a journey ( and we still have a lot ahead of us) but we now make beers so good that you’ll never go back to an industrial one after trying ours.
