@RealMrBean99 @TheHistoryOfTh2 I am right-handed but left eye dominant so when I set up a spike in volleyball, I had an easier time with the person on my left. My left leg is stronger than my right, so for kickball and soccer, I was lucky to be able to use both.

@fradmin @TheHistoryOfTh2 One of my 4 brothers is completely left handed. Can’t do anything right handed. Our Mom is right handed but has 1 brother who is completely left handed as well.

Also true of libertarians, who often learn their low regard for govt in public school classrooms and cafeterias. My big learning experience came in the 6th grade, when my teacher claimed that 0.7=1/7. I marched up to the blackboard and divided 1/7. I chose poorly.

@TheHistoryOfTh2 @fradmin That was almost 60 years ago & I can still pull up perfect memories of her doing that & me looking her in the eye & putting that pencil back in my left hand. Insolent was her favorite word. But my will was stronger than hers. Ha!

The crew reported hearing a loud bang and then noted that oxygen tank 2 was empty and tank 1's pressure was falling. With the failing Apollo 13 spacecraft over 210,000 miles (330,000 km) from Earth, the race to save the crew from the life-threatening accident began. In this photo we see the Mission Operations Control Room at what is now Johnson Space Center, during a television transmission that took place just before the accident. Eugene F. Kranz (wearing a white vest with his back to camera), was on duty as one of the four Apollo 13 flight directors. On the large screen we see astronaut Fred W. Haise Jr., Apollo 13's lunar module pilot.

Acronyms are pronounced as words. -scuba -laser -NASA Initialisms are pronounced as individual letters. -NFL -TSA -TGIF 'Acronym' is frequently used for both kinds of abbreviations, so it's ok to call an initialism an acronym.
