Birthday day out for the big boy nearly ruined by the shocking service from @GWRHelp yesterday but the burgers at @thebeefyboys were amazing!! Well worth the trip!

📢 National maternity and neonatal investigation to be launched Too many families have suffered preventable harm. The investigation will urgently look at services with specific issues and the entire maternity system, making sure each family receives safe and compassionate care.

@DHSCgovuk @wesstreeting @wesstreeting I appreciate your commitment to maternity services, however all the reports in the last 10 years have demonstrated the same themes. I understand looking at high performing units to learn from them.

At the beginning of June I decided to get a grip of my physical health - since then I have lost 3 stones 12 lbs and I ran every step of my first park run on Saturday, with my greatest cheerleader @adamholborn.

Very disappointed with @British_Airways today. If we’d checked in 4 bags we could have taken 92kg of luggage for free. But because our only bag was over 23kg we had to pay £65?!? Really? Where is the justification?!? After that was fabulous, cabin crew great. #easyjet next time
