Ridiculous. Three forwards guarding absolutely nothing. Crosby takes 5 seconds with the puck, dusts it off while everyone backs away, and sets up the winner. Feels like the nail in the coffin for this team's playoff aspirations. You cannot keep blowing huge leads. #CBJ

@frankandbeans23 They have won 11 games in regulation, out of 41. They will need to win at least 20 of the next 41 in regulation to get into the playoffs. Then win 5+ more, and get some help. All without a backup goalie and no secondary scoring. I'm not a downer. I'm a realist.

@TheNasher61 You only have this take because of the past 5 games. If CBJ were 3-2 or better, you would be praising no deadline moves

As a guy that has now played approximately 2 seasons of franchise mode in NHL 25… Staying put at the trade deadline hurt this #CBJ team. Feels like we had to commit to actually winning by getting some help or sell off and get some picks. Instead we did neither. Not giving up on the season just yet, just wish more would have been done either way. I also am horrible at franchise mode and have no idea what I’m talking about.
