@svpino @BenjaminKlieger As a non-coder who is suddenly capable of building cool, pretty useful shit, I agree with Santiago. Am I suddenly taking a Senior Developer's job? No...but I'm also calling on them a bit less for consulting gigs. And this seems only the beginning...

I think an "AI Software Engineer" threatens senior developers more than it threatens people just getting started. If you are a new developer, a tool capable of building software is a superpower. It will augment your skills by 50x or 100x. If you are a senior developer with many years of experience, a tool capable of building software will automate much of what you did before. It might be a 2x for you, but it will take more away than what it gives. Plus, the older you get, the harder it is to change and adapt. I think the AI revolution is a massive advantage for those behind today.
